Overview
This is a beautifully renovated 3 bedroom terraced cottage conveniently located overlooking Dartmouth's wonderful Coronation Park and just 5 minutes' level walk to the town centre. Set within a small row of very attractive terraced houses, this lovely property has been thoughtfully refurbished and mixes the old with the new, combining classic with contemporary.

Living/Dining
The open plan sitting room and dining room have stripped pine floor boards and the sitting room has its original open fireplace. It also has a 3 seater sofa and 2 bucket style armchairs. There is a flat screen LCD TV/DVD player with Freeview, and a radio/CD player with iPod dock.

The dining room, which leads into the new kitchen, features a large rectangular oak table with six chairs.

Kitchen
The new cream kitchen is well fitted and includes everything you will need, including a beech worktop with sink, fitted electric oven and ceramic hob. There is also a microwave oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a cupboard off the dining room.

The glass roof of the kitchen gives this room a light and airy feel. From the kitchen a glazed door opens onto the steps up to the back garden.

Sleeping
On the ground floor is a single bedroom with chest of drawers and hanging space. A downstairs WC and basin are between the bedroom and the dining room.

At the back of the house on the first floor is a double bedroom with chest of drawers, hanging space and double French doors, which lead directly out into the garden.

The main bedroom is at the front of the property. It has two windows which provide splendid views across Coronation Park and the River Dart. There is a king sized bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bathroom
The main bathroom is situated on the first floor and has a bath with shower, WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail.

Off the main bedroom is the en-suite shower room with WC, hand basin and a heated towel rail. (The towel rail can be turned on independently from the main central heating system, enabling you to dry your towels easily at any time of the year).

Outside
To the rear of the property is a landscaped garden with paved areas, brick borders and a variety of shrubs and plants. A glass balcony looks down towards the rear of the house and here there is an outdoor table, large wooden parasol and chairs. Steps lead down to a smaller terrace by the French windows of the bedroom at the back of the house, and further down past the window of the single bedroom to the kitchen.

Young children should be supervised whilst in the back garden.

To the front of the property is a newly landscaped terraced garden which has been constructed using old railway sleepers and slate chippings. There is a bench overlooking the park, which is ideal for the mid morning sun, tea/coffee, papers and to watch the world go by.

Young children should be supervised on the front terrace.

Parking
There is a parking permit for an undesignated space at the Mayor's Avenue car park in town and the Park and Ride at the top of Dartmouth.

Gorgeous House!
We were so delighted with this house. It was just as described and suited our needs perfectly. The views are stunning. We had mixed ages to accommodate from age 2 up to 73! lovely and quiet and great access to town. We could push the buggy down the slope to the street and it was easy enough to park the car at the end of the slope to load and unload for a few minutes. There is a lovely playground in the park opposite and everything in the house is comfy and really good quality. This house has been really thoughtfully put together with everything you could need.We would definately visit again. Thankyou for a lovely holiday!

Lovely family house, a perfect home from home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The standard of accommodation was very high and all rooms were very beautifully furnished and well equipped. Ideally located to walk in to the town and also perfect for the children who thorughly enjoyed playing in the park opposite and meeting new friends
Despite the wet weather this week, it was comforting to know that we had a lovely retreat that was like a home from home to stay in.
We look forward to returning again to Coombe Road in the future.

Happy Holiday
We had a very good week in Dartmouth, the house was very comfortable, and it was nice to have seats in so many places in the lovely garden to sit when our feet ached from so much walking. Lovely bathroom and shower. If there were any downsides the kitchen worktop space was very difficult to manage, I am no chef but we did eat in and hardly enough room to put two plates to dish up food. If you were trying to do this for five people it would be extremely difficult.. This however in no way spoiled what was a lovely week, we so enjoy the music festival and as you will be aware the weather was glorious for those days. would definitely return to this House, also lovely views.
