We had a wonderful week at Bayards, the property is very clean and warm with everything we needed. The beds were especially comfortable! It was in an excellent position near to the seafront, didn't need the car all week.

We can honestly say that Bayards is the best self catering property we have found in a reasonable price range and when you add to this the helpful friendly service received from the Blueriver staff you have all the ingredients for a wonderful holiday.

It is a short stroll from the waterfront, pubs, restaurants, shops, the lower ferry and the Co op supermarket. It is on a busy street so don't expect it to be a quiet backwater. Although I think this is one of the main attractions of the apartment. You are so well located if you like the vibrancy of the town centre. You can even see the queue outside Alf Resco's so you can time when it's best to get a table ! The designated car parking space is also only 5 minutes walk away. The apartment itself is very well appointed. It has good size rooms and is overall very spacious. There is a lounge/dining area with sofas and TV. The modern kitchen has plenty of units, storage space, crockery, cutlery etc. It has a washing machine, iron and board, vacuum, fridge with a small ice box but no freezer, gas hob, kettle and toaster. There is no dishwasher. The bedrooms are well appointed with wardrobe space. The double bedroom has a small en suite with electric shower basin and toilet. The main bathroom has a gas shower, bath, basin and toilet. There is a good wi fi connection via a BT hub which is always handy.

If you like Dartmouth this is a great place to stay. I have 2 teenagers and we all said that we would definitely stay again at some point in the future.

Reviewed by Will, Dorset on 29 May 2012 We loved it here! We have stayed in quite a few different properties over the past 5 or 6 years but we all agreed that this was our favourite. We visit Dartmouth for the music festival and it's great to be based right in the thick of it all. The accommodation was clean, comfy and well equipped. Will definitely stay again (hopefully next years music festival!).
Reviewed by Avril on 14 May 2012 Dartmouth is charming, and this flat in the middle of the town is wonderfully situated - quiet and central. We missed having a view (except of Alf Resco's), but had not expected one, and that was the only thing that was missing. The flat was very well equipped and the staff in the office were friendly and helpful.
Reviewed by Gill from London on 26 April 2012 The flat really does have everything you could possibly need. It is comfortable, and well located to give easy access to the town, and the bus. The weather was perfect all week, with sunshine from dawn 'til dusk. Great walks from Dittisham and Greenway, and from Torcross back to Dartmouth Castle for a cream tea. We also made it to Froward Point. Good meals at the Cherub and the Royal Castle Hotel.

Reviewed by Jane & Phil from Cowes on 31 March 2012 We had a fantastic break. The apartment was clean, comfy, warm and well equipped. It's in a great position, close to the shops, ferry and great eateries. Alf-rescos breakfasts are delicious. We will certainly be back.
PS. lots of dog friendly pubs too!

Reviewed by Dominic on 26 September 2011 My husband and I spent 5 days at Bayards. The agent we dealt with was more than obliging and the arrangements for picking up the key were very convenient. The apartment was more than adequate for just the two of us, with an extremely well appointed kitchen in which my husband was able to whip up lovely meals using the local seafood. Everything in Dartmouth was within walking distance and there was more than enough for us to see, do and eat close by. Take your family!

Every conceivable extra had been thought of - from napkins in the dining area to a shopping bag to a superbly equipped kitchen. It was clean, comfortable and very good value.
