The name 'Carefree' says it all! It is a delightful apartment, beautifully presented and ideal for couples or small families wishing to discover the delights of Dartmouth. Part of a Georgian town house, situated in a peaceful residential area, yet only a short walk from the town and all amenities, it provides the perfect base for those wishing to get away from it all.

Living
The lounge is very cosy with soft comfortable furnishings, tastefully decorated in a contemporary style. The sitting room has wooden flooring and an attractive fireplace and television. Double patio doors from the living space lead straight out onto the patio and garden, creating a very light and airy room.
Kitchen
The attractively tiled kitchen offers guests the opportunity to cook if they wish. An electric oven and gas hob, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans and glassware have been provided. There is also a laundry cupboard providing washing machine and tumble drier. There is a breakfast table which can seat four guests.
Bedrooms
A spacious landing leads onto the pretty bedrooms that are all on the first floor. There are two large bedrooms, both with large windows and juliet balconies with beautiful views overlooking Dartmouth.
Bedroom 1 is a double room and has a large en-suite with bath, shower over the bath, washbasin and w.c.

Outside
The apartment is accessed via a side gate and steps at the side of the property. There are 26 steps down to an enclosed patio and garden with views over Dartmouth. With an attractive array of plants and greenery, there is also a seating area providing a sunny spot for a morning cup of coffee.
Parking
There is a parking permit for the long stay car park in Dartmouth, valid for 6 months of the year, from May to the end of October.

Wonderful and spacious home with views
From the moment we stepped in we felt at home. There were fresh daffodils in a vase and some welcome gifts of wine, milk, jam, sachets of coffee etc. Centre of town was roughly a 5 minute walk away but we were able to listen to the morning chorus in this quiet location. All in all, very well equipped and comfortable accommodation and a super stay. Would definitely return.Reviewed by Vanessa from Northamptonshire on 31 January 2013
Carefree at Carefree
Carefree is a well presented apartment which catered for all our needs during an early October visit. The weather chose our week to illustrate that Devon has damp weather as well but on the whole we achieved all we set out to do. We were able to park our car (free with Carefree badge) in the town centre car park which was quite convenient though I wouldn't wish to leave it at the Park and Ride site. Apartment is comfortable and quiet and provides elevated views over the town which is a steady five minute walk along the road. We would have no qualms about visiting again or recommending to friends.

Carefree is excellent accommodation !
The property was clean, well equipped, warm and tastefully furnished. The location within Dartmouth was excellent. We did however have a leaky window in the bedroom which did not affect our stay but may need attention in the future. The only tiny criticism would be the fridge was a little small!
