A First Class Foodie Feast

It’s that time of year again. We may well be in the grips of autumn but the Dartmouth Food Festival returns for its 16th year and, coinciding with half term,  it’s even bigger and better than ever - A foodie’s heaven of culinary delights for all the family!

With over 20,000 visitors expected and 90 food and drink exhibitors flocking to the town, the 2017 Dartmouth Food Festival is set to be one of Devon’s top events. In fact it's earning a reputation as one of the the top food festivals in the UK, and it’s free! 

The whole weekend is a celebration of regional food and drink with pizza making workshops, sushi and fudge lessons. You can even learn how to crack a crab in the crab-cracking workshop and how to make the perfect pie or filet a fish with step by step instructions at some great demonstrations.

Rub shoulders with celebrity chefs  Mitch Tonks, Mark Hix, Angela Hartnett and Matt Tebbutt of Saturday Morning Kitchen fame as they demonstrate their skills. Join food and drink writers - TV’s Susy Atkins and award winning Allan Jenkins, editor of Observer Food Monthly as they talk about food and wine. 

It's a real feast for the senses. Tempting aromas fill the air and there’s plenty of nibbles on offer. Take time to chat to food and drink producers who are eager to share their passion for food. Join in the food and drink workshops and debates and you’ll pick up some great hints and tips along the way. There's something for all the family too with a dedicated family area in the park.

A fabulous opportunity to taste the very best food in one of the finest towns in the South West. Dartmouth’s streets, park, market and avenues are packed with food and drink producers, invited because they’re the Best in the Southwest…
