Thuishaven is a lovely 3 bed property located in the heart of the village of Chillington which is halfway between the bustling towns of Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The Coastal road to Dartmouth also passes through the village and therefore making this a wonderful location to explore the South Hams. This modern property is light and spacious and has been beautifully decorated throughout with a fresh modern theme. There is an enclosed garden at the back of the property which is a safe haven for the children to run
around in and play whilst you are preparing for a busy day of exploring the local area. There is also ample parking space for 2 cars in front of the property on the drive way. Within a short drive to the gorgeous Slapton Sands and Dartmouth this property provides endless opportunities for your party to discover the South Hams. Within walking distance of the property is a village shop and a pub which is useful for purchasing your holiday picnic or enjoying a well-deserved holiday drink of an evening.
The property has had a brand new fully equipped modern kitchen fitted which includes an electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Leading towards the back on the kitchen is a utility area with a washing machine and a tumble dryer. This separate space is ideal for storing your beach clothing and equipment after a busy day at the beach.
Decorated with a stylish grey and white theme the living and dining area is a warm and comfortable area for the family to enjoy quality time together. There is a fabric grey sofa and 2 arm chairs all furnished with attractive homely cushions to help you to relax into holiday mode. Located in the corner of the room is a large Freeview TV with a Freesat box. There is a dining table located to the back of this room in front of the patio doors leading to the outside area. This is a lovely spot for you to enjoy a family evening meal with the doors open and enjoy the outside area and the views over the valley.
The 3 bedrooms are located on the top floor and have all been tastefully decorated with a refreshing white theme throughout making all of these rooms feel very light and airy. The master bedroom contains a king size bed and is decorated with complementary white furniture including a beautiful white dressing table with a mirror on top. The room also has plenty of storage consisting of a white wardrobe and chest of drawers with a television on top. The second bedroom again has a lovely neutral theme throughout and is furnished with two single white framed beds, a chest of drawers for extra storage as well as built in
cupboard storage. This room also has views towards the back of the property and therefore benefitting from the views of the surrounding valley. Bedroom 3 contains bunk beds and is decorated with a blue and white theme. There is a storage cupboard in the far end corner and the room also has the benefit of a wash basin and storage.
The family bathroom is located upstairs and therefore providing comfort for the bedrooms next door. There is a walk in corner shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. Located next to the utility is also a separate cloakroom with a WC and wash basin.
At the back of the property there is a picturesque garden with a burst of colour from the flowers and various shrubs planted. There is also a paved patio area which is perfect for BBQ's and enjoying the evening sunshine with a glass of wine. The garden is enclosed and therefore perfectly safe and ideal to let the children run around and roam in. Situated at the rear of the property the garden picks up the views of the rolling countryside and makes this an idyllic place for your morning cup of tea.
In the front of the property is a drive way which is big enough for two parked cars.

Peaceful short break

Fantastic time booking again for next year
Lovely house in a great location for touring round the area, house was very modern and well kept, a great family place to stay, the neighbours were also very friendly and helpful in telling us good beaches etc. Would highly recommend a stay here. Rick from Macclesfield - 27th August 2016
