Overview

Number 1 is a stylish apartment conveniently situated in the heart of Dartmouth Town Centre. This bright and spacious apartment which  has recently been refurbished to make living very easy and enjoyable is set over two floors.The property provides an excellent base for exploring and enjoying Dartmouth, with restaurants, art galleries and boutiques on your doorstop.

Kitchen/Dining

The dining and kitchen area is situated to the rear of the room with dining provided by a large glass table and four  chairs.  The kitchen features a range of contemporary base and wall units with fitted appliances of a dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer.

Living

Situated on the first floor and to the front of the apartment is the living area. Here you will find two family sized leather sofas with soft furnishings and a large solid oak coffee table. Entertainment is provided by a Flatscreen T.V with Freeview and Freesat available as well as a DVD player. Wi-Fi is also available for guests to use at their convenience.

Sleeping

Situated on the third floor are two large bedrooms.The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed with two matching bedside tables, a large wardrobe and chest of drawers and a small wall-mounted flatscreen t.v. Bedroom Two also has a kingsize bed with bedside tables with a wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bathroom

Situated on the second floor is the family bathroom with a shower , w.c, pedestal wash basin and heated towel-rail. Hiding away in the storage cupboard is the washer/dryer.

Parking

There is currently no parking at the property but a permit for Mayors Avenue car park is available from April -September.

Outside

Situated at the top of the second flight of stairs is a door leading out onto a small decking area. A bistro set is available to use for those al-fresco moments.

What a lovely time we had staying at No 1, a truly comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. Fabulous flat, great location, perfect for us
We spent a week in Dartmouth just before Easter. The flat at Number 1 was perfect for us - clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, though, being based in such a central location meant that we enjoyed the local restaurants very much. Rockfish was a particular favourite. The M&S Simply Food store was a great bonus too. We got to know the owner's of Roly's Fudge (now the shop below the flat) in the week they were preparing to open for the season, and they couldn't have been nicer. The fudge is also delicious. We would happily return to Number 1 in the future. Highly recommended. SMW - 22nd March 2016

Access Statement

Number 1 is an apartment set over 2 floors located in the centre of Dartmouth Town. Foss Street, the road where Number 1 is based, is an uneven cobbled street, which you are unable to drive through during the hours of 7am-8pm.
To reach the front door of Number 1, you first must unlock the door on the street which leads to the hallway of a shop and Number 1's front door. This first door measures 74cm wide and there is a small step over the threshold into the hallway leading to Number 1. The hallway floor is carpet and slopes downwards towards the front door of the holiday apartment.
The Apartments' front door is heavy and made out of wood and is 74cm wide with a height of 1m 98cm, there is one small step into the hallway of Number 1.
Hallway
The flooring in the hallway is laminate and the hallway has high ceilings, this is a lengthy hallway measuring 4m 65cm with a width of 78cm.
At the end of the hallway there are 13 carpeted stairs leading to the first floor of the apartment, the last 3 steps curve around at the top and there is a handrail which follows the stairs up to the top on the right hand side. These stairs measure 75cm wide and the hallway leading to the kitchen and second flight of stairs measure 78cm wide.
Kitchen/Lounge
The door to the kitchen and lounge is directly on your left measuring 70cm wide. The kitchen section of this large and spacious room has lino flooring and then changes, halfway across the room, to laminate when walking to the lounge section of this room.
The kitchen houses worktops which follow the wall around to the lounge, these worktops are 94cm high, this has been measured from the floor to the underside of the worktop. There are also wall mounted cupboards measuring 1m 40cm, from the floor to the underside of the cupboards. Within the wall mounted cupboards the oven and microwave are built in, the oven is 1m 30cm high, this has been measured from the floor to the top of the oven, and the microwave is directly above it. The microwave measures 1m 50 cm high, from the floor to the top of the microwave.
In the middle of the kitchen area there is a glass table, this is 71cm high, this has been measured from the floor to the underside of the table. There are 4 black leather director style chairs which fit under the table which measure 45cm high, this is the height between the floor and the seat.
Next to the table is the back of one of the leather sofas, there is a walkway next to the table which measures 70cm wide, which is the gap between the side of the sofa and a small table, this leads you into the lounge space.
In this lounge space there are 2 two seater leather sofas, the cushions for the sofas measure 43cm high from the floor. In the centre of the lounge area there is a wooden coffee table, this is 31cm high from the floor.
Opposite the two sofas in one corner of the room there is a small cabinet where the TV is placed on top. The cabinet is 46cm high.
Stairs leading to the 2nd floor
The hallway and stairs leading to the second floor and the second landing is all carpeted. There are a total of 13 steps to the second floor and the last 3 steps are curved at the top.
Balcony
Directly at the top of the second flight of stairs there is a small door that leads to the balcony walkway. The door has a width of 56cm and a height of 1m75cm, there is a large over step into the balcony walkway. The flooring in this balcony walkway is wood panels, a rug does cover the panels. The width of this walkway is 89cm.
At the end of the small walkway there is another door leading out onto the balcony. This door is 80cm wide with a height of 1m 80cm. There is 1 small step down onto the balcony, the balcony has wooden panelled flooring. The balcony has a high roof measuring 2m 10cm, the width of the balcony is 80cm. There is a small table and 2 chairs on the balcony.
Bathroom
The bathroom is located on the second floor, on the landing it is the door to the left, the door to the bathroom is 69cm wide and 1m 98cm high. The bathroom has laminate flooring.
The hand basin is next to the bathroom door measuring 80cm high, this has been measured from the floor to the lip of the basin. There is a wall mounted mirror cabinet directly above the hand basin.
The WC is located next to the hand basin, is measures 42cm high from the floor to the seat. Next to the WC there is a chest of drawers which is 83 cm high, 1m 16cm long and 40 cm wide. Opposite the chest of drawers there is a shower cubical, this shower cubical 75cm wide. When you open the door there is a small step into the shower and the door leaves a gap 52cm wide. The height of the shower cubical measures 1m 89cm.
Bedroom 1
Further along the landing the carpeted floor begins to slope downwards towards the bedrooms, this landing is 72cm wide. The first door on the left leads into the first bedroom. This bedroom houses a king size bed, 2 bedside cabinets and a vanity table, the room has carpet flooring.
The mattress of the king size bed measures 60cm high, this is from the floor to the top of the mattress, the bedside cabinets are on either side of the bed, measuring 62cm high and 38cm wide.
The vanity table is directly opposite the bed, against the wall, the gap between the bed and the vanity table is 80cm wide, allowing room for a chair when needed. The vanity table measures 72cm high and 94cm long. There is a chair placed next to the vanity table which is 47cm high, floor to seat, with a wooden back support.

Bedroom 2
The door to the second bedroom is at the end of the landing, the door measures 74cm wide, this is a spacious bedroom, with carpet flooring. The bedroom houses a king size bed, 2 bedside cabinets, a built in wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a chair.
The bed, from the floor to the top of the mattress is 66cm high. The two bedside cabinets are on either side of the bed and these measure 60cm high and 52cm wide.
The chest of drawers are 87cm high and 96cm long, the chair is placed next to the chest of drawers, this chair measures 47cm high, from the floor to the seat and has a wooden back support.
The built in wardrobe is 1m 50cm wide and is 2m 25cm high.
