The Penthouse is a beautifully modern three bedroom apartment centrally located in Dartmouth, minutes' walk from the towns centre and is a delight for those looking to get away from it all but be a stone's throw away from the interesting shops, restaurants and cafes Dartmouth has to offer. This apartment is one of three and can be booked singularly or combined with the apartment below. This is a newly refurbished property, which is to a very high standard, benefits from fantastic views of Kingswear, stylish interior touches throughout and the perfect terrace for alfresco dining. There is ample space for a family of six to enjoy their holiday comfortably and make memories to last a life time. This property can be booked in conjunction with The Apartment.

Kitchen

The kitchen is part of the open plan kitchen, dining and living area of the apartment. The kitchen features a range of brand new features, such as, high gloss wall and base units, so there's plenty of storage for food when the property is at full capacity. It has wonderful shiny granite worktop surfaces throughout the kitchen and there are excellent quality built-in appliances comprising of an electric induction hob, a stainless steel oven with extractor fan above, a built in washing machine, slim line dishwasher which really helps to ease those household chores you really don't want to do on holiday and a full sized fridge freezer to keep all your foods fresh throughout your holiday.

Open Plan Living

The Penthouse has an open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The living and dining room is a beautifully stylish room with neutral tones throughout, there are two plush cream sofas providing seating for the whole family, a contemporary wall-unit with a large flat screen TV with a built in DVD player and there are a range of DVD's suitable for all ages available in the apartment. The WiFi box is located in the living room and is available for guests use for the duration of their stay. A contemporary matching coffee table and side table create a complete stylish look. On the side table there is an IPod docking station available to use for when you're having a relaxing meal with the whole family on the modern black glass dining table with six black leather chairs, a great way to start or finish your holiday.

Sleeping

This apartment has the capability of catering for a range of guests parties with the total of three bedrooms in the property. The master bedroom is a spacious bedroom, built within the roof of the building. The elevated position of the bedroom means you can sit on the plush tub seats and enjoy a gorgeous view of Kingswear and glimpse the river below with a nice coffee placed on the coffee table. This master bedroom comprises of a kingsize bed, matching bedside tables with lamps, there is a large double wardrobe situated across the landing which can easily store away your travel bags. The master bedroom comes with a flat screen TV, for the all-important film before bedtime. Across the landing, from the master bedroom, is an ensuite featuring a bath which we can all happily sink into after a long days travelling, a low level shower attachment, a wc, hand basin and chrome towel rail. Bedroom two is another expansive room with a double bed, a bedside table with a lamp for the book worm of the family who likes to read before bedtime, a chest of drawers and a floor to ceiling wardrobe. There is also a wall mounted flat screen TV available for use. This second bedroom comes with an ensuite, within the ensuite there is a walk in shower, wc, hand basin and chrome towel rail. Bedroom three is perfect the younger ones of the family, with set of bunk beds, the children can feel they have their own bedroom and space during the holiday. There is a chest of drawers to pack away their toys and clothing during the holiday and a flat screen TV for the wet days when you want to stay inside.

Family Bathroom

Whilst the two double bedrooms have ensuites, the apartment has a family bathroom available on the first floor, this is a fantastic feature for when the property is at full capacity. The family bathroom has large walk in shower with glass sliding doors, a floor to ceiling chrome towel rail, wc and hand basin.

Outside

At the rear of The Penthouse apartment, through the back door, you'll find yourself walking in to the beautiful sun kissed terrace. This terrace is enclosed, therefore perfect for when it's too hot to stay inside but your family fancy a relaxing day away from the hustle and bustle of the town. This terrace can also be accessed via the communal hallway.

Parking

An annual car parking permit is available for the guests to use during their stay, which entitles you to park in Mayors Avenue car park and other car parks in the South Hams including, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Totnes.

First Class All The Way!
Dartmouth is a very special place at the best of times, but on my 75th birthday we all decided to go EXTRA SPECIAL! There was nothing too much trouble for The Seahorse Seafood Restaurant to celebrate this special occasion, they even organised the superb cake made by Saveurs, and collected it themselves! What Service! I don't know if Phil at Blueriver Cottages arranged the weather as that too was perfect. We rented The Penthouse for our 3 night stay and had a wonderful stay. The decor and standard of furniture and fittings were excellent and the view from the top bedroom across the river was stunning. A very good time was had by all 5 of us. Thank you so much Blueriver. Entry
The Penthouse is situated Newcomen Road, is located next to Dartmouth's Lower Ferry. This property is close to all restaurants, shops and bars.
The communal corridor has 17 carpeted steps to access the property.
The entrance has a 76cm wide doorway, with a 3cm high step. There are 11 steps to entrance and it's lit by 5 downlights. At the end of this entrance, on the right hand side there is a door, which is 80cm wide, to access the patio, it has a table and 6 chairs. 
Shower room
The doorway is 76cm wide. There are 3 downlights and a window. There is a corner shower, a sink which is 40cm to floor. There is a toilet which is 80cm high. It's heated by a towel rail.
Leading from the corner of the entrance there are 4 stairs which are carpeted.
Bedroom 1
The doorway is 76 cm wide. It has a bunk bed. It's lit by 1 window and 4 downlights. There is a chest of drawers which is 90cm high. It has a TV on top which is 123cm to top.
There is a mirror and a radiator.
Bedroom 2 with shower room
The doorway is 76 cm wide. There is a double bed with a white headboard.
There is a bedside table with lamps which is 61cm high. This room is lit by 1 window and 5 downlights. It's heated by a radiator. There is a flat screen TV which is 90cm to top and 131cm to floor. There is a lamp on the corner and a mirror. It has a chest of drawers which is 90cm high and a wardrobe which is 75cm high.
Shower room
It has a sink, which is 42cm high and a toilet which is 90cm to floor. This is fitted with 3 downlights. There is a shower and it's heated by a towel rail.
Kitchen/Dining/Living
The kitchen/dining/living area is open plan. The doorway is 76cm wide. It has 5 windows and 12 down lighters. This area is heated by 2 radiators.
In the kitchen there are inbuilt appliances including oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a microwave.
