1 Bight Boatyard is a beautiful traditional River front property that sleeps up to 8 people in two double bedrooms and two twin rooms. This property is about a 5 minute walk from Dartmouth town centre where you can enjoy the eclectic mix of galleries, restaurants and shops or take a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction to Dartmouth Castle to have a Devon Cream Tea. This is a 4 level property, on the ground floor there is a large living room and large family kitchen connected to a conservatory. On the first level there are 2 bedrooms along with a family ensuite bathroom, the second floor houses another 2 bedrooms, one of which has a shower unit and on the third floor is another bathroom. 1 Bight Boatyard comes with a designated car park space and amazing panoramic views of the River Dart. As you walk down to the property you'll reach the wonderful waterfront however, please do not leave children unattended in this area because there is a short drop into the water. Pets are welcome!
Please be aware that to access the lift there are approximately 20-25 steps. Once you exit the lift you will need to go down a flight of stairs.
Due to the nature of the access to the property we advise that this property is not suitable for small children and those with restricted mobility.
You'll reach the porch before entering the property, within the porch there is a shoe stand and coat hook.
To the right of the porch entrance you will find a new bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
The kitchen is a large room with a white table that seats up to 8 people for the centre piece, around the table the owner has supplied everything you could possibly need for your holiday. There is an iron and ironing board, coffee maker, steamer, food mixer, toaster, fridge and freezer, a built in oven and microwave and a 4 ring gas hob, slow cooker, washing machine, cafetiere, dishwasher and kettle.
Leading on from the kitchen through bi-folding doors is a conservatory with a selection of cushioned wicker chairs and a beautiful water feature. Enjoy some peace and quiet whilst reading a book in this hidden conservatory. There is also a vintage space invaders game (not available to use), a clothes airer and hoover.
The living room is located on the ground floor at the front of the property, this means you get the maximum amount of view whilst sipping your morning coffee through the full glass frontage. Within the living room there is a sound system with a wide selection of CD's available to listen to, videos to use in the video player, a selection of board games for all the family, books for the book worms of the family and plenty of seating in the form of plush sofas in deep red and gold colouring. The coffee table is central to the seating and all are strategically placed looking out towards the River and TV system. The owner has supplied a 52inch flat screen TV, Sky HD, DVD player and a Video player.
There are a total of 4 bedrooms. The first floor of the property has two bedrooms, the first is the master bedroom towards the front of the property looking out to the mouth of the river with a double bed, two bedside cabinets with lamps, 3 floor to ceiling length built in wardrobes, there is also a TV, dressing table and ottoman chair and waste bin. The master bedroom comes with an ensuite which can be used as the family bathroom for the second bedroom on this floor.
The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, the room comes with three floor to ceiling built in wardrobes, a wall mounted TV, two bedside cabinets with lamps, a wash basket and waste bin.
On the second floor the third bedroom is a double bedroom with two bedside cabinets and lamps, a free standing wardrobe, a dressing table, a chest of drawers and a free standing TV.
The fourth bedroom is a twin room with two single beds, there is a built in wardrobe which also doubles as an airing cupboard, next to each of the beds there are bedside cabinets and lamps. The owner has supplied a TV and a DVD player which can be plugged in if needed. For added comfort there is a modern power shower located in one corner of this bedroom, so everyone has their own bathroom space. Great for getting ready in the morning or for a special occasion.
On the first floor of the property, next to the master bedroom, is a large vintage green ensuite. This ensuite has a wash basin with wall mounted mirror, wc, bidet, waste bin, wash basket, a bath with a wall mounted shower and a wall mounted towel rail.
On the third floor is the second bathroom, this is open plan with a modern suite, the suite consists of wc, heated towel rail, hand basin, shower unit and waste bin.
There is a new bathroom on the ground floor with WC.

1 Bight Boatyard comes with a beautiful terrace, outside seating is available to use, and this terrace is located at the front of the property right next to the River Dart. Enjoy cracking panoramic views of the river whilst socialising with the whole family on a perfect sunny day!

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Absolutely loved it, the view is fabulous, could sit all day watching all the activity on the water. Plenty of room for the 6 of us & everything you could need. Lovely holiday in a beautiful location, looking forward to returning. Mr Hilary Clarke - 3rd July 2018
Perfectly located with an amazing view and very well equipped. Outside space a real plus. Excellent value for money. One or two glitches with fixtures but this did not spoil our enjoyment as the owner was very quick to help out. Mrs Valerie Neave - 21st May 2018
