4 The Sail Loft is a luxury duplex apartment forming part of a small redevelopment of a Grade II Listed 18th Century former sail loft, located on a historic site and originally a warehouse for the storage and repair of sails and other equipment. The apartment is
furnished to an extremely high standard with stylish interior touches throughout and is the perfect base to explore and experience not only everything Dartmouth has to offer, but also nearby Salcombe, Totnes, and the surrounding area of the South Hams. Although there is no parking at the property a parking permit is provided for use during the months of April September.

Open Plan Living Area

The open plan living area is situated on the first floor and has a solid oak floor laid throughout with a feature painted white washed stone wall. The contemporary stylish furniture comprises of a two seater sofa, Charles Eames style leather lounge armchair with matching ottoman with unique individual touches of a recycled urn used as a side table. Entertainment is provided in the form of a flatscreen TV with built-in DVD/CD player and freesat, and a provision of DVDs and books. A contemporay dining table provides an area to eat with DSW Eames style dining chairs.

Second Living Room

Situated on the second floor is a separate living room area. This light and airy room offers spacious accommodation and is stylishly furnished with a two seater sofa and coordinating armchair, a long trestle table supports a large feature mirror and contemporary side lights. A wall mounted flatscreen TV with freesat provides entertainment for guests.

Kitchen

The fabulous kitchen area is fitted with a range of contemporary high gloss wall and base units with granite worksurfaces and upstands. There is a range of excellent quality built-in appliances comprising of an electric oven with gas hob over, washer dryer, slimline dishwasher and a full size fridge freezer and is perfectly equipped for your stay.

Bedroom

The bedroom is located on the second floor and features of an oak framed kingsize bed with solid wood bedsides and matching side lights. A large chest of drawers provides ample storage for clothes during your stay with a freestanding clothes rail also available. Entertainment is provided with a flatscreen TV with built-in DVD/CD player and freesat, and a Roberts DAB radio.

Bathroom

The bathroom is finished to a very high standard, tiled throughout with marble effect porcelain tiles. The contemporary white suite comprises of a panelled bath with shower over, low level wc and washbasin with a large lighted feature mirror over.

Parking

Although there is no parking available at the property, a car parking permit for the town centre car park is provided between the months of April and September.

Excellent Accommodation
4 The Sail Loft provides excellent accommodation in a prime position close to all that Dartmouth has to offer..........and that's a lot. The property is extremely well equipped with top notch kitchen appliances , comfortable furniture and TVs in every room bar the bathroom. The rooms are tastefully decorated and are both clean and bright. The central location is but a minute's walk from the riverside in one direction and the winding streets, with an abundance of shops, pubs and eateries, in the other. You couldn't ask for a more convenient spot. The benefit of the car park being just over the road is a bonus. Unfortunately we chose Regatta week for our visit and had to re-locate to the Park & Ride a mile or so away to accommodate the Funfair. But it didn't detract from an excellent stay. We were also provided with a free pass on the dedicated bus which takes a couple of minutes. The only compromise you have to make for all of these benefits is a lack of windows with a view. It is, after all, a loft space. It shouldn't go unmentioned that the Blueriver office is nearby and that the staff are pleasant and very helpful. Robert from London - 26th August 2016

We had a wonderful time
The loft was a really top class space - all the equipment and soft furnishings etc were of the highest quality and spotlessly clean. We had everything within a 5 minute walk - M & S food store, gorgeous river with wonderful coastal walking, excellent Information Centre and theatre, bars and shopping - would not be surprised if we are not back next year!!! Convenient and comfortable apartment .
The property was in a good location with easy access to the town and all amenities .It was spacious and had good quality furnishings.It was clean and tidy and the welcome items were appreciated . The apartment had everything that was required for our stay, with style.

Access Statement
