Overview

The Knot is a well presented and stylishly furnished detached residence located in the picturesque village of Hope Cove, a beautiful coastal sanctuary.  The property has been finished to a high standard throughout with carefully considered finishing touches, including fisherman style light fittings and window shutters to each window.   There are many beaches within walking distance, in the village itself and at South Milton Sands and Thurlestone Sands, and with many secluded coves and beaches on your doorstep.  The property is situated a short distance from the South West Coastal path and benefits from some Sea views.  Hope Cove offers the ideal holiday retreat and is a charming holiday destination, a place to relax and unwind with The Knot offering this and all you could need from a self catering holiday - be it for a small family or a couples retreat.

Living

This well presented and furnished room is situated on the first floor to take advantage of the Sea and Countryside views with large french doors opening onto a Juilette Balcony with window shutters.  The room is stylishly furnished with two two seater sofas with a matching footstool and two coordinating chairs, wooden coffee table, TV unit housing the flatscreen freeview TV and DVD player, side table with light . To one end of the room sits a dining table and four chairs with a painted wooden bench and to the side a sideboard unit.

Kitchen

Situated to the rear of the open plan living area, the kitchen is well presented and follows the theme running throughout the property.  This fabulous kitchen features a range of base and wall units with fitted appliances of a built in oven with matching microwave over, a dishwasher and a full size fridge freezer.  There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the utility cupboard on the ground floor.

Bedrooms

The two bedrooms are located on the ground floor.

Bedroom one is furnished with a kingsize bed with matching bedside cabinets with side lights, chest of drawers, a freestanding unit and built-in wardrobe.  A folding door opens into a concealed en suite shower room.

Bedroom Two is furnished with two single wooden framed beds with bedside cabinet and light and a range of built-in wardrobes and shelving unit against one wall.

Bathrooms

The bathroom and en suite shower room are both located on the ground floor.

The bathroom is furnished to a high standard with a contemporary suite comprising of a panelled bath with shower attached over, low level WC and a wall mounted washbasin in vanity unit with a large mirror over.

The ensuite shower room is fitted as a wet room with a shower unit, low level WC and a wall mounted washbasin with mirror over.  Please note the access into the en suite is restricted due to the narrow passageway.

Outside

To the front of the property is an enclosed patio area with raised flower borders to the walls and furnished with outdoor seating and dining.

There are two off road parking spaces available with the property directly in front.

The Knot is a comfortable, clean and relaxing place to stay
The Knot, is a lovely holiday home, with everything you need for a relaxing stay plus more. The house is very clean, designed with much thought and in a quiet location. The Knot is also within walking distance to the local shop and pub and also the hotel restaurants in Hope Cove, as well as to the lovely sandy beach. Our only comment would be the space or lack of space in the very tiny ensuite shower room, thankfully there was another bathroom available. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we would return. Relaxing scenic

The best self catering property I have experienced.... really really nice.
Everything was immaculate at the property. My only suggestion is to have a rubber bath mat in the bathroom as I fell whilst showering but was not injured (I have two replacement hips) I suggest this for safety reasons and am not complaining at all. A lovely holiday.B.A. LLOYD - 12th September 2015
Just as magical as last year.
Love everything about the cottage. The attention to detail is amazing and everything that you could need is there. The village of Hope Cove is beautiful and there is plenty to do in the surrounding areas. It was fabulous. The cottage was very well equipped and Hope Cove was beautiful.
The cottage was amazing. Everything you could have needed was there. The views from the cottage were fantastic and it all made for a very relaxing and memorable holiday. The beach was great and the cottage provided deckchairs, buckets and spades and everything you could possibly want. Very comfortable and convenient for the coastline from Torbay to West Cornwall
We used the cottage as a base to explore some lovely National Trust Properties, namely Cotehele, Buckland Abbey, Coleton Fishacre and Saltram, as well as spend time in the lovely coves and beaches. Particularly liked Blackpool Sands, Bantham and South Milton beaches, with the latter offering a lovely evening meal at the Beachshack, yards from the beach on a beautiful evening. Bantham is a natural wonder, joining up with Bigbury-on-Sea and Burgh Island at low tide. Hope Cove itself was a delight, well served for evening meals at the Cove Cafe and Hope and Anchor. All in all a delightful stay. We usually leave it a few years before returning to the same place, but South Devon definitely hasn't seen the last of us! Peter, Berkhamsted - 19th July 2014
Perfect summer holiday in lovely and well-equipped cottage

Absolutely loved everything about this property
The attention to detail was brilliant, this is the best example of a seaside escape we have ever experienced and has everything we expected and lots more. The property is clean and immaculate throughout, and really looks and feels new. The property owners have done a fantastic job and the location and property combined are a perfect combination if you want to relax by the seaside. Purched on high, you have brilliant views of the ocean and the country side. Watching the boats on the water from the comfort of the lounge was very relaxing. The beach itself, is a short refreshing walk, and if you want to do some rambling, there are plenty of hillside walks around, again with amazing views of the surrounding countryside and coast line. We also enjoyed a meal and drink at the Hope and Ancor pub which was very nice. There is also a small shop and post office if you any need bits and pieces. Alternatively, Kingsbridge is a short drive away. We have thoroughly enjoyed our escape here, I love the feel of the property, it is perfect for the location and we very much look forward to coming back. Alfred from Australia - 16th June 2014

The Knot is a detached property located in the coastal village of Hope Cove.  The property benefits from two off road parking spaces directly in front of the property.  The property is approached through a metal gate across a small pathway to the front door
