The stunning coast line and beaches of Thurlestone and Bantham can be easily accessed by walking the lovely coastal walks which are located minutes away from the property.
Thornlea View has a light and spacious fully equipped kitchen and dining space with a large window with beautiful countryside views. This roomy space features a range of base units with a fitted built in oven and 4 ring hob, a microwave and a free standing fridge with a freezer compartment. With an extendable wooden dining table this rooms provides plenty of space for entertainment. In the communal area located close to the gardens there is a laundry room containing a washing machine and a tumble dryer which is coin operated.
Situated towards the front of the property and therefore benefitting from the fabulous views out to sea and the famous Bolt Tail this room provides a calming and peaceful atmosphere. With two comfortable sofas, Freeview TV and an electric fire you can relax of an evening and take in the breath-taking colours from the sunset that pour into the room.
Thornlea View comfortably sleeps 7 in 4 spacious, light and airy bedrooms. The master bedroom contains a double bed and plenty of hanging space for all of your holiday clothing. Decorated with a simple white theme and using splashes of colour in soft furnishings this is the ideal room to wake up to on your holiday, drawing back the curtains and enjoying either country or seaside views. Bedroom 2 again has a double bed with plenty of hanging storage and a wash basin in the corner of the room with ample storage space beneath. Tastefully decorated with hints of colour this is the perfect room for couples. Bedroom 3 contains a set of wooden bunk beds with beautiful rural views of the rolling countryside to wake up to. With the master bedroom next door parents can kick back and relax whilst children rest of an evening. The final bedroom contains a single bed and has a blue theme throughout, containing a wash basin in the corner as well as plenty of space and storage this is the ideal private bedroom for a family member to enjoy. Please note that linen is not provided but can be hired.
The family sized bathroom is located next to the entrance of the property and is very light and airy with a clinical white theme throughout. The bathroom compromises from a bath with an electric shower overhead, WC and wash basin with a mirror above and ample storage provided from built in cupboards below.
Set within 2 acres of shared communal grounds there is plenty of space to lose yourself and rewind after a busy day. With a communal BBQ area and plenty of seating arrangements this is a perfect spot to enjoy an evening meal, whilst surrounded by the pleasant views of the valley and watching the children run around in the grounds.
Parking for the property is provided at the front as you come through the entrance of the development. There is a space for one car and then it is possible to get another car in front of the space on the grass.

Thornlea offers great child and dog friendly accomadation with a bonus of being so close to the beach and excellent places to eat. Just a few areas let it down. One difficulty was the fact there was only seating for six at the table meaning meals involved someone perching elsewhere. Just a small final point which I appreciate is more connected to the previous occupants. On arrival we had a lot of dirty cutlery etc to wash up prior to use. This let down the very good job the cleaners had done on ensuring the place was cleaned to a high standard before our arrival. I would like to say I have found Blueriver cottages a great agency to book a property through. The whole process and information has been clear and any phone calls I have made have been dealt with by very friendly and efficient staff.I will be recommending Blueriver CottagesHelen from Lancashire - 27th August 2016
Relaxing, amazing views, great location.
A few minor niggles - Key safe was very difficult to open, strong perfume odour in cupboard under sink (washing powder/cleaning materials stored with plates), bedroom doors very creaky, memory foam mattress in master bedroom not our cup of tea. Otherwise perfect! ?? Diane Birch - 13th August 2016
