Along the drive behind the gates, off a little used single track lane, Higher Well Cottage sits above the village of Kingston. Nestled within 1.5 acre garden and meadow designed to maximise the views towards Bigbury Bay to the South and Dartmoor to the North West surrounded by working farms, miles of beautiful coastline and estuaries lies Higher Well Cottage. Within a short car drive are the other outstanding places to visit, Plymouth, Bigbury-on-Sea, Modbury, Salcombe and Dartmouth, true jewels in South Devon's crown.
This delightful retreat offers both tranquility in a superb setting as well as fabulous nearby walks joining the South West Coastal path and 1 mile from Wonwell Beach and the sandy Erme Stuary, an area of Special Scientific Interes (SSI), where there is on-side road parking and Turning Bay above the slipway. Westcombe Beach and Ayrmer Cove are accessible only on foot with National Trust car park at Ringmore. Burgh Island and Bigbury Beach has pay and display parking. All are dog friendly, all year round, with dogs restricted to the right hand side of the beach at Bigbury during summer months.

Higherwell Cottage gives relaxation in a stunning setting and all within a close proximity to some of Devon's most scenic villages and coastal areas. Furthermore, bring along your two well behaved dogs on your stay and explore this beautifully area together.

Parking: Parking for 4 or more vehicles on driveway and 1 undercover space in car porch.
Changeover Day: Saturday- Arrival 4:00pm - Departure 11:00am
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Power and Heat: Oil central heating and electricity are included in rent.
