Genista is a lovely welcoming property located in the picturesque village of Kingswear, which enjoys a marine outlook over Waterhead Creek and the River Dart to the stunning port of Dartmouth and the Britannia Royal Naval College. Genista is an attractive Victorian home with welcoming homely furnishings and a cosy ambiance. The accommodation is arranged over 3 levels with most of the principle rooms having access onto balconies or decked areas from which stunning uninterrupted panoramic views over the river and creek are enjoyed. The rooms are light and airy and there are 4 good sized bedrooms which are all individually styled. Kingswear lies on the Eastern side of the beautiful River Dart opposite the port town of Dartmouth. In the village you will find the Royal Dart Yacht Club, local grocery shop, Darthaven Marina and a local pub. Accessed by regular passenger and car ferries Dartmouth has numerous cafes, restaurants and individual shops. Genista is a welcoming home suited to families with young children and groups of friends celebrating a special occasion or reunion. It is so peaceful and relaxing, and convenient too as you are within easy reach of Dartmouth, Brixham and Torquay
The downstairs living area is ideal for family living with its home comforts and comfy sofas. There is stripped wooden flooring throughout the lounge area and fantastic views from the bay windows. In the lounge you will find a digital TV with a selection of DVDs and games to keep the children entertained on those rainy days! Access from the front door takes you onto one of the decked areas perfect for those lovely summer evenings where you can sit and watch the world go by!
The modern kitchen with lovely tiles throughout has the up to date appliances one needs whilst away. You will find an electric hob, double spacious oven, washing machine, toaster, microwave and dishwasher.
The dining area can seat 6 people, so is perfect for larger families or groups of friends.
There is a cloakroom on the ground floor near to the kitchen with WC and handbasin. The main family bathroom is on the first floor has WC, bidet, bath, shower over bath and wash basin. On the third floor in the apartment there is a bathroom with large walk in shower, WC, bidet and wash basin.

The luxurious top floor accommodation includes a balcony with wonderful panoramic views out over the creek and across to the beautiful town of Dartmouth. You can enjoy this view from the super king size bed, or the sitting area with table and TV. There is a kitchen with cooker, electric hob, fridge (freezer drawer), kettle, coffee machine, breakfast bar and utensils etc. There is an outside table and chairs in the kitchen area for you use.
The outside space consists of decking on 2 levels, enjoy a glass of champagne over looking Dartmouth and its beautiful scenery. The downstairs decking plays host to a BBQ and seating for six guests, whilst the top floor decking has seats for two.
Private allocated parking is available at the rear of the property on Lower Contour Road for one car.

This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Perfect location, comfortable spacious property but in need of a bit of tlc to bring it up to 4 star standard.
