Very comfortable no surprises.
The Cottage has had extensive refurbishment and was a delight to stay in. The outside patio area with it's sunny elevated view over Dartmouth is a large part of the enjoyment that this cottage gives. However the furniture on the patio is tired and needs replacing. The staircase to the cottage is steep and uneven but it should not be an issue if you are reasonably fit.David from Sherfield-on-Loddon - 24th June 2016
Fantastic break and such wonderful views!Halfords - 12th September 2015
Relaxing holiday with amazing views!
We had a most pleasant stay in Pebble Cottage despite the rain and sea mist! The highlight has to be the fabulous view from the cottage and balcony- definitely worth the hard slog up the steep steps! There is so much to watch with the constant boat and steam train activity. Something to consider if the weather is not so good- there are no instructions for the washer/ dryer. When we finally worked out the dryer function, it was not effective and there was nowhere to put still-damp clothes. Perhaps an airer would be a useful addition to the cottage? The mixer tap on the sink is very wobbly too, watch out for that! We would recommend breakfast at Alf Resco's (get there before 9 if you like it a bit quieter) and hiring a small boat for a really interesting chance to explore the river. The quirky lower ferry is great fun too and if you intend to spend plenty of time in Dartmouth, it is well worth buying the foot passenger saver ticket. If you are keen on being fit, by the way, by the end of the week the 78 steps did not seem so bad and we could get up them in one hit- at the start we had to rest. A positive result!Jo from Cheshire - 18th July 2015
Lovely accommodation to watch the activity on the river
It worked perfectly for us. The weather wasn't very favourable so our only comment was that it would have been good to have some form of way of way of drying clothes in the bathroom. Otherwise it was well equipped and served us very well.Richard from Devon - 30th August 2014
Very Well equipped cottage, enjoyed our stay
The Cottage was well equipped and was very contemporary with modern décor and very comfortable, quality of bed linen and towels were excellent. The cottage had enough room for our family of four. A bit more lighting is required outside on the few wider steps upto the property. (there was a solar light but it did not work)this is the only thing that is a little negative from our stay. Everything else was great. Did have a little problem with the electricity supply, running on a key meter it ran out on our second day there but Blueriver cottages didn't hesitate to get a member of staff out to top up the meter. Would recommend this property and would stay here again.Sam From South Yorkshire - 23rd August 2014
Tidy little cottage with an amazing view up the river.
We had a lovely week at Pebble Cottage. The front windows look out over the Dart valley and there is always some boat action to watch. The cottage is ideally located for coast and river walks, rides on the steam train and trips up the river to Dittisham and Totnes (although the steps up to the front door are not for the faint-hearted).Paul from Essex - 21st September 2013

Beautiful place, fantastic views. Lovely cottage, the balcony is great bonus!Vic & Martine - 21st August 2013
Lovely break in great location
Really charming cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. Kingswear is a great location, quiet and easy parking but very easy to nip across to Dartmouth on the ferry. Views from the cottage are awesome. Lovely area, great walking and cycling. Fantastic beaches nearby. Good restaurants nearby. Alf Resco's, Rockfish and the Venus cafe at Blackpool Sands were our favourites.Elaine, Leamington - 19th August 2013
