Peace and quiet in a lovely location. The bungalow is ideally situated for a peaceful holiday with lovely views of Dartmoor and its surroundings. The cows were grazing in a field nearby and rabbits and birds were seen in the vicinity. Prickly ball farm (hedgehog hospital) is across the way and our grandchildren enjoyed the animals and the play equipment. All in all, we had a great holiday as the weather was good for the whole week.M Roberts - 15th April 2017
The bungalo was well equipped for diabled wheelchair friendly bathroom had plenty of hand rails, the view from most of the windows was nothing but open space plenty of wildlife round the bungalow , and the view over Dartmoor was stunning.A previous customer - 28th September 2016
Lovely cosy, well presented bungalow which was great for my two disabled children Enclosed garden great for BBQs and relaxing Amazing views towards Dartmoor. Beautiful! Love it here, our second visit and was great to see Cynthia -owner- again. Nothing too much trouble Thanks againA previous customer - 10th September 2016
Good facilities for disabled person in wheelchair - ramps to outside doors, wide internal doors and space to move around easily. Shower in bathroom with disabled facilities could be easier to use.A previous customer - 22nd June 2016
This was our first visit to Rydon Ball and we found the bungalow to be very well equipped, spacious, with beautiful views and disability friendly. The owner of the bungalow was very welcoming and helpful too. I would recommend Rydon Ball to friends and familyA previous customer - 6th October 2015
We had a relaxing week in this spacious cottage which is set in a remote spot with tremendous views. Perfect for wheelchair users. We are planning to book again so I needn't say more!A previous customer - 26th September 2015

A fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and the owner is also very welcoming. The only 'negative' I would say is that the outdoor furniture could be improved for comfort.A previous customer - 17th August 2015
Once again we had an excellent stay. Such a peaceful setting with wildlife and views all around. What's not to like this place! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA previous customer - 9th June 2015
Lovely stay however en suite shower leaked quite badly Grass needed cutting Patio furniture dirty and old looking Little bit frustrating that no Wi-Fi available but understand this is not uncommon but would be nice to have and would certainly influence future stay. If I was t be a little over critical, I think the place looks a little tired and could do with upgrading a littleA previous customer - 20th August 2014
Absolutely great, we love it, already booked for next year!Mrs W - Manchester - 17th May 2014
Staying at Rydon Ball was a real pleasure. The location was wonderful and the property has been well planned to make the most of the surrounding scenery. Located on high ground, from breakfast in the kitchen diner to sitting in the lounge during the day there is always something to see. With many large windows it makes the most of the all round views and sunshine. As a result the property is surprisingly warm and needed little heating. It is well equipped with everything that you need, the property owner is at hand nearby and made us very welcome. If there is anything that you need, or need to know she is always pleased to help. The disabled facilities were very good, one observation would be that the 3 piece suite was very comfortable but was too low for a not very mobile person. A more upright chair with arms that you can lift yourself up on would be really useful. We are already planning our next visit! The views of the surrounding area and Dartmoor are stunning and if you are a lover of wildlife there is always something to see with various animals and birds to be seen out of the windowsA previous customer - 8th May 2014
Any worries that we had regarding my wife's disablement was soon dispelled, although I would add, we did take a wheeled shower chair with us. Everything about the cottage was welcoming. The location allowed us to move around the Torbay area and also it is within easy reach of Plymouth. Dartmoor is also easy to access with Tavistock on the other side of the moor worth a visit. I have given our stay at Rydon Ball top marks on all counts and it will always be a fond memory for myself and my wife.A previous customer - 8th May 2014
