The Hayloft is a Grade II listed Barn Conversion within Rowden Court, set amongst beautiful countryside and only moments away from South West Coast Path. Recently renovated throughout, The Hayloft offers a stylish and comfortable feel and benefits from an spacious, open-plan Kitchen/Living/Dining Room on the first floor. From the Entrance Hall, there is a double bedroom and spacious shower room. Stairs leads up to the first floor, where the white painted high vaulted ceiling, instantly welcomes you. The glass balustrade at the top of the stairs, allows the light to pour down to the ground floor, providing a light and bright feel throughout. The Kitchen has been designed to a high standard, benefitting from a slimline dishwasher, ensuring you can truly relax whilst on holiday in this beautiful barn conversion. Guests are welcome to make use of the shared, communal 1.5 acre landscaped gardens, Tennis Court, Barbeque Area and Laundry/Games Room. A lovely spot to sit of an afternoon with a good book, the dog flaked out in the grass, whilst listening to nothing but birdsong.
This part of the South Hams, offers many opportunities to explore on foot with the South West Coast Path only a 10 minute walk away and beautiful walks can be enjoyed along the Yealm Estuary, taking in the stunning views across Newton Ferrers. Whilst stopping off at the waterside pubs in Noss Mayo. Only four miles from The Hayloft is the famous Mothecombe Beach, as featured in Sense & Sensibility and more recently My Cousin Rachel , it provides excellent bathing areas for not just people but also dogs and at low tide you can walk across the Erme estuary to Wonwell Beach - not forgetting the Schoolhouse, serving delicious, locally sourced food.
The charming, picturesque waterside village of Noss Mayo is situated only one away. The two waterside pubs, are both excellent for enjoying an summer's afternoon glass of wine whilst soaking in the atmosphere. There is also a Art Gallery, where many local artists exhibit and sell their work. Across the River, is the larger village of Newton Ferrers. It is possible to cross the river on foot, at low tide. Alternatively join in with the locals and cross the water with a kayak or paddle board. Newton Ferrers boasts a butcher, chemist, convenience store, post office, cafe, pub and the Yealm Yacht Club. Not forgetting its famous Regatta which takes place every August.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £100, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 Pet; £25 per Pet per week. Your Dog must be kept on a lead within the grounds of Rowden Court.
