This is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in for some years. From the welcoming mince pies, Christmas tree, milk and teabags to the comfort and 'Homely' feel of the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. Every room is big and comfortable and little touches like pictures on the wall, clocks and ornaments make it feel like home. I could go on and on but there are too many things to praise. It is just about the best place to stay TorbayA previous customer - 4th January 2017
Booked to stay here for a week whilst our daughter competed locally. Lovely charming, clean and very spacious property, with the added bonus of a washing machine and wifi, everyone was happy! The scones on arrival were lovely, thank you! Just a shame the property is already booked for next year otherwise I would have rebooked.A previous customer - 10th November 2016
We had stayed at Meadowside just a few weeks earlier and enjoyed it so much we decided to treat ourselves to a return visit. You can't really give a better reference than that!! A lovely, comfortable property.A previous customer - 16th September 2016
A very nice property in a good location for getting out and about around Paignton and the surrounding area. The homemade scones are a delightful touch and where scrumptious..A previous customer - 23rd August 2016
The house was immaculately presented with a beautiful view of Torquay in the distance. We were greeted with homemade scones with clotted cream and Jam. The owners were in invasive and left us to get on with our holiday in peace, but we're easy to contact via text. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend Meadowside to anyone looking for a peaceful break.A previous customer - 10th August 2016
Meadowside is a beautiful property. All the rooms are really spacious - in fact one of my first thoughts was how small our own house would seem when we went home!! The decor is lovely throughout and the whole apartment was scrupulously clean. We wanted for nothing and particularly appreciated the huge tv in the living room and a second tv in the kitchen. It was lovely to have such a comfortable home from home to return to after each day out and the scones, cream and jam waiting for us on our arrival were a wonderful welcoming touch.A previous customer - 14th July 2016

our stay at meadowside was lovely. the apartment is very clean! spacious and homely everything you need is there and there is lots to do around. we will hopefully be returning soon. homemade scones when we arrived, the owners even took time to drop off a highchair which we needed.would recommend meadowside for a lovely holiday!!A previous customer - 1st April 2016
We are a couple so the toilet was no trouble, but I think, if one had teen agers ,or two other adults, Using one toilet ,in the master bedroom ,could be a problem. Access to separate toilet, from the hall to the walk in wardrobe, would be perfect , We would certainly, book again, if come down that way again. Thanking you, Phil & ShirleyA previous customer - 30th December 2015
Meadowside is a excellent place to stay. This was are first time in renting a apartment and I was very very pleased with the choice we made. Meadows is in a very quiet rd perfect location. We couldn't fault anything with the apartment. Father enjoyed the home - made scones on arrival, it was a lovely touch. Will different be thinking about booking again xxA previous customer - 18th November 2015
Beautifully decorated, perfectly clean. Amazed to find scones on arrival with jam and cream for us. The lounge is huge and comfortable, the bedrooms are really big and also very comfortable. Beautifully clean cottage and such nice decoration. The huge eat in kitchen was a dream, almost make me want to cook something. Minor negatives are the internet did not work very well and sometimes would not connect but I believe that was going to be sorted after we left. The bathroom while being perfectly clean and of a good size was through the main bedroom (as an en suite) a bit icky if you are not a family staying having to walk through someones bedroom to shower, go to the toilet, put on makeup (no other mirror in the house) etc was a downer. Great for families, perhaps not so much for two couples? Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed staying here, we felt very 'at home'.A previous customer - 4th November 2015
We stayed here for one week in October as we needed somewhere to base ourselves whilst walking the sections of the South West Coast Path. The situation was ideal as we could walk down to the coast path from the accommodation in about 10 minutes. Also within 5 minutes walk were bus stops for services to Brixham and Kingsweir in one direction and Paignton, Torquay and connecting services to Teignmouth and Exeter in the other. Although we took the car we seldom used it. Local shops were a few minutes walk away with a convenience store and several take-aways. The accommodation itself was spotless, extremely comfortable and in a quiet residential location It is true that the shower and WC were en-suite to the main bedroom which was no problem at all for us. It may be an issue for two couples staying together. Overall we were very happy with our choice and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.A previous customer - 14th October 2015
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages. Would book Meadowside again &/or recommend it - a really great place, and location.Mr S - Birmingham - 29th September 2015
The welcoming scones were lovely. The bungalow was clean & spacious it was home from home. The towels were a nice touch, the double bed was very comfy. The view was lovely, the location was handy for beach, takeaways & places to eat. Downside, internet only seem to work at the back of the house & took a while to connect up. Overall very good value & would recommend to holiday makers if staying in Paignton.A previous customer - 18th August 2015
Our family of two adults, one child age 7 and a toddler had a great holiday here. The accommodation is ideal. It is clean and well equipped for self catering as well as being in a good location. It is closest to Goodrington Sands beach but the other beaches are also close. We took the car as we always had a lot of 'stuff' but I think you could walk if you were keen. Close to local shops and a few takeaways if you fancy that too. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend this propert.A previous customer - 6th August 2015
the layout did not work because the only toilet is in the en suite shower so if anyone goes to bed early or has a lay in you have to walk threw the bedroom and disturb them . also the two settees were very uncomfortable .A previous customer - 7th July 2015
