Oldway Apartment is a very bright and spacious 2-bedroom apartment and has the added benefit of a very large rear garden, ideal for relaxing in the sun. The apartment is decorated to a very high standard with quality fittings and furnishings, making for very comfortable holiday accommodation. Oldway is excellently situated, being just a short level walk from the very child friendly and sandy Preston Sands and also having a great selection of everyday shops very close by, ideally catering for holiday visitors. Buses for Torquay and Brixham are also easily accessible so that travelling around the bay is very simple if you want to leave the car behind.
Living/Dining area: his area has a wooden floor. There is a two-seater leather sofa and an armchair. Fully equipped with a flat screen TV, DVD player and music system including CD player. The dining area has an oak table with four chairs. This area is lit by dual aspect windows.
Kitchen: the modern and stylish kitchen has an induction hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
Bedroom 1 The master bedroom has a king size bed (zip link bed) with bedside tables, chest of drawers and hanging space. The bed can be unzipped to form a twin-bedded room if preferred (2 x 2’ 6” beds).
Bedroom 2 The second bedroom has a double bed with restricted access to one side for adults.
Bathroom This room has a bath with shower over and washbasin. There is a separate cloakroom with WC and hand basin.
Outside The property has a large furnished rear garden.
Parking There is private parking in a small garage (2.1 metres x 1.8 metres). You are able to park across the road all weekend, but from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm parking is limited to 2 hours with no return within 2 hours. This effectively means that you can park overnight from just after 4.00 pm to just before 10.00 am the following morning during the week. Laura Grove, is a 2-minute walk away from the property and you are able to park here at all times, with no restrictions.

Susan and myself always stay at holiday flats all around the country,we love the total freedom staying in a flat gives you. The flat at Oldway we both agreed has to be the best we have ever stayed in. The flat on arrival was absolutely immaculate, The kitchen was equipped with every item you could wish for. Both bedroom's very spacious,and the beds extremely comfortable,lovely bathroom and separate toilet. We both had a wonderful week in Paignton none stop sunshine and the flat was the icing on the cake. We will be in touch with Sarah and Andy next year because we would love to book this flat again hopefully for a longer stay. A lovely clean apartment, fully fitted with everything you could need. The kids loved the box games. The only issue was parking, as my car was to big for the drive (I only have a Ford mondeo). Really lovely flat in a pleasant residential area of Preston and just across from the grounds of Oldway Mansion allowing a nice stroll through the parkland style setting. The flat was warm, inviting, amazingly well equipped, had good quality fittings and furniture and lots of books, games and a decent TV if the weather was less kind. Excellent parking in the long, clean garage but the door is fairly narrow so a larger car wouldn't fit and road parking is restricted. Kitchen was very well equipped to the point where all the kitchenalia and gadgets took a lot of work surface up but appliances etc were great. The large garden was slightly awkward to access via the neighbours property but was also accessible through the garage given no car in the way. I experienced a few minor issues, broken lamp, jamming front door key, blind pulls falling apart and so on but nothing that wasn't easily sorted out by me....such as some WD40 in the front door lock for example! Although I didn't need to contact her there was always someone on hand via phone should anything have gone awry. We arrived late but that was not a problem as there is a KeySafe. The flat is beautifully laid out. They have thought of everything that can make your stay comfortable. It was clean and there were a lot of extra blankets etc. The flat is located just a short walk from Preston Sands beach. There is a Tesco Express & a Sainsbury Local within a 5min walk as well as lots of take aways and pubs so getting food and drink was always easy. There are very good buses and getting around was no problem at all as we did not have a car. I would definitely recommend it to friends. We found the accommodation to be very clean and comfortable with good quality furniture and bed linen. It had also been renovated with glass panels all around the top of the staircase which made the apartment feel very light and airy. The property was very clean and there were nice touches such as drinks and biscuits left for your arrival so you didn't have to rush out to buy them as soon as you arrived. The local beach was about a 10 minute walk away and there were local shops really close by. Essentials such as soap, toilet rolls and washing up items were all provided. The down side of the property was the parking luckily for us we had a small car and could make use of the garage (once we had swept up screws and nails off the floor) but it was a tight squeeze. It should be stated that if you have a family size car you need to park a few streets away between 8 & 6 monday to friday. Also the fact that there is no reference to the number of cats living in the property below could be an issue for some. Our booking confirmation stated that towels were included but none were left so we had to phone around to get this sorted but the lady who maintained the property was really helpful.A previous customer - 15th September 2015
