A lovely, clean and very comfortable cottage. Very well situated for the seafront, 5 mins walk, and the train and bus stations. Just a very slight incline to reach the cottage from the main road. Cottage very well equipped but could possibly do with offering free wi fi. A good base for exploring the region either by car or public transport.H Wellborn - 21st June 2017
Great cottage in perfect location only let down by the lack of WiFi which in the modern world is a must and would elevate this little gem to the best in paigntonM Cooper - 13th June 2017
Perfect in every way - Jayasri is perfection, comfort & location. My wife & I stayed over Easter holiday weekend it was fantastic, the cottage is close to all the amenities. No internet seems to be a problem for some people but I think this cottage is perfect place for a real family holiday. Will definitely book again very soon.W Mann - 18th April 2017
We chose this cottage because it was all we could get at short notice. However it turned out to be a very good ""find"". The location is excellent for walking to the harbour and getting the train to Dartmouth. In fact we needn't have moved the car at all in the 4 days we spent there. The living room is a bit cramped but adequate for us, and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall a very nice place to stay.A previous customer - 3rd October 2016
Absolutely delighted with house and location. Clean and comfortable, a home from home with everything you could need. On the flat and close to shops, bus and rail also harbour and promenade. My sister's and I had a wonderful time and would hope to stay again in the near future. I would highly recommend this property. Phyllis Northern Ireland.A previous customer - 20th September 2016
As this was our third visit then it probably speaks for itself. The JAYASRI is a really super place to stay for enjoying all the local amenities and having a lovely home to be safe and comfortable. Almost everything is provided for , except for wifi, which is a necessary requirement when away from home these days. Worth considering. The beds are very clean and comfortable and made up to requirements for your arrival. There is a TV with Freeview channels and a DVD. My only note of caution is for car owners, as parking is very restricted as Hill Park Terrace is a one way narrow road. Overall a great place to stay.A previous customer - 16th September 2016
We had an amazing stay at the cottage with our two boys. The cottage was very clean. It is in a great location only 10 minutes walk from two beaches. There was everything in the cottage that we could need. We loved Paignton and will definitely return to both paignton and the cottage in the future.A previous customer - 9th September 2016
What a lovely cottage...such a nice feel to it.. done out beautifully with everything you need... exceptionally clean ..plenty of room.. comfy beds .. 2 shower rooms ..the downstairs one is fab.. Close to the sea and shops..but in a peaceful area...all making for a lovely holiday. .found it hard to leave at the end of our stay ... this cottage is one not to be missed...A previous customer - 23rd August 2016
We had a lovely stay at Jayasri. The property is very comfortable and clean and has everything, barring WiFi, that you could need. The beds were very comfortable and the on suite shower room was an added bonus. The location could not have been better, five minute walks to both beach and town centre. All in all our week at Jayasri was near perfect and I would definitely book the property again if coming back to Paignton.A previous customer - 16th August 2016
Very comfortable, a real home from home. The cottage is situated in an ideal location close to Goodrington and Paignton beaches. Could not fault any of the interior, it's well maintained and of a high standard.A previous customer - 9th August 2016
Lovely, well equipped cottage with everything you need to feel comfortable. Great location, close to the beach and the town centre. We'd love to come back!!!A previous customer - 28th July 2016
We had a lovely week at the JAYASRI this holiday. The house was a great place to stay as it is almost like being at home. Everything is provided for, except wifi, which is a shame. The beds are really comfortable and clean, as is all of the house. Appreciated having an upstairs toilet and shower ad well as the large 'wet room' on the ground floor. I would suggest that the owners have an extra safety rail fitted on the stairs near the top, as we found it awkward to come down the stairs with only one rail until halfway down. All in all though a lovely place to stay and handy for all local facilities.A previous customer - 15th July 2016
Lovely cottage that was great for our needs.Had a few little quirks such as a noisy boiler and tight space in the ensuite shower room but you learn to adapt on holiday.Location and comfort was great and would not hesitate to recommend the property and already have to a work colleague. Only suggestion I would make is that in this day and age the addition of WIFI to the property is needed to keep apace of other let's on the market.A previous customer - 7th June 2016
It is in a very handy location and was very clean. There were enough kitchen utensils, although we only had breakfast in the cottage. We were able to park outside the property. The only downside is that there is no Wi-Fi.A previous customer - 27th May 2016
Stayed at Jaysari for 2nights, location was perfect as was in Paignton with my parents to visit my fathers sister who was only 5minutes walk away. The cottage was very comfortable and was fully equipped as I cooked both evenings and plenty of cooking pots/utensils available, beds very comfortable and the level entry shower downstairs perfect for those less mobile although the ensuite does have a level entry shower. Shops not too far away, as is the bus and train station so you could get away with not using a car whilst there. Shall at some point in the very near future go back for another stay,A previous customer - 7th May 2016
Again we had a wonderful stay, the cottage is everything you could ask for, clean and tidy, well equipped and close to all the amenities. would thoroughly recommend and health permitting we will be there next year.A previous customer - 26th April 2016
The cottage is ideally placed, less than 10 min walk to beach and shops. This is a godsend, as the traffic in Paignton is not great, so not having to use the car to get about was excellent. The train station is also 5mins walk so going to torquay for the day is much easier by train than car. The cottage was immaculately presented, pristine bathrooms and kitchen. Well stocked kitchen equipment wise. It was also really quiet, considering there are neighbours on both sides, the walls must be quite thick! The only thing that would take it above and beyond would be the addition of wifi. Very highly recommended property.A previous customer - 21st October 2015
I stayed at Jayasri Cottage with my wife and my middle aged, disabled parents; the cottage was situated on a slight incline but only ten minutes walk from the sea front and fifteen minutes from the main bars, shops and arcades on Paignton front. The cottage itself is in excellent condition with all of the amenities you would expect and a few more besides. The mattresses were extremely comfortable and clean and the showers on the ground floor and in the master bedroom had good pressure and were well maintained. The landlady (Denise) was very helpful and contacted us to ask how we wanted the beds configured etc. prior to our stay and she also left plenty of information around the cottage with both day trip ideas and with contact numbers in case of mishap. We visited Paignton Zoo whilst there as well as Paignton and Brixham harbours - they were all very nice but proved hilly for my parents; the zoo provided scooters however and there is also an excellent mobility shop in the high street. We had a very nice and inexpensive meal at the 'Offshore' restaurant in Paignton harbour and a more specialist seafood meal at the No 7 Fish Bistro which I would heartily recommend to anyone who likes their fish! There were also some much more affordable offers (2-4-£7) at Murphys, the Spinning Wheel and the Flagship, providing competition for the two wetherspoons pubs nearby. Would recommend this property to those looking for a comfortable stay close to the seafront and will likely visit again ourselves.A previous customer - 6th October 2015
Lovely and clean cottage, very comfortable and big enough for a family of 5. Location is great less than 5 minutes to the sea front and town. Would definitely stay here againA previous customer - 1st September 2015
very nice property and well looked, kept in touch to ensure we arrived safely and asked if we needed anything. My only criticism, and even that's a harsh word, is the property and the price bracket it is in should have had WIFI available, especially for the kids we would stay again, and even will be asking if they do short winter breaks ( with WIFI of course)A previous customer - 27th July 2015
A delightful cottage very conveniently situated for beach and town centre. Clean house, comfy beds and equipped with everything we needed for a great holiday.A previous customer - 6th July 2015
This cottage had everything we needed, fully centrally heated - we went early in the year and the heating was needed. Very clean and tidy and extremely comfortable. The owner showed us round which was a lovely touch as other places we have stayed at they leave a key hidden and you are left to work things out on your own. We are both in our sixties and managed easily the ten minute walk to the beach and to the shops. This cottage is ideally situated it is quiet at night and easy to reach everything during the day. If you come via car there are lots of other places to visit such as Teignmouth, Dartmouth, Brixham Cockington and many more besides. Or you could take the steam train to Dartmouth again Paignton station is only a ten minute walk away. If you like walking I can recommend walking to the harbour, then walking up a steep incline where you will come to a park and there is a zig zag walk down to Goodrington sands from there if you continue walking along the seafront when you come to the end of the path turn right go under the railway bridge and directly left there is a coastal path walk up the hill and then you see a bridge over the railway on your left cross over it and go into the field there is a spectacular view from here and a little cove to explore. Of course you can walk much further along the coastal path. There is so much more I could tell you about the area to explore, sometimes though it is better to explore and find out for yourself as we have done over the past 10 years in coming to Paignton. This was the first time we had stayed at this cottage but it will not be the last time.A previous customer - 31st May 2015
Wonderful house, very friendly reception would definitely recommend staying here!A previous customer - 13th April 2015
Pleasantly surprised by the size. Very modern and the necessary items provided (the ones you usually forget..toilet rolls, kitchen cloths, washing up liquid, etc. Was home from home. Great location 10 min walk to Pier. Children loved it.A previous customer - 23rd February 2015
My family had a super week at The Jayasri in Paignton. The cottage was wonderful and helped make the holiday special. All facilities needed were available and the location really good. Shops, restaurants and beach all very close. We used the local buses, which were regular and handy. All in all, a great week. Many thanks to the owners, Mr and Mrs Baldry.A previous customer - 28th September 2014

Cosy homely llittle cottage.Mr C - Mansfield - 8th June 2012
Very good location. Within easy walking distance to local attractions in Paignton and within easy reach by car of other towns and beaches. Jayasri far exceeded our expectations of a holiday home and it is obvious a lot of thought has gone into the redecoration of the property. It had everything we needed.Mr & Mrs M - Sidcup - 6th April 2012
Beautifully transformed to modern taste, spotless, just what we look for.Mr B - Chesterfield - 5th August 2011
