We love staying at coastguard cottage and this was our 4th time staying here, the cottage is so cosy and well equipped it’s a home from home. It’s very close to lots of dog friendly beaches and restaurants. We will be back next year.Miss Emma Barlow - 14th October 2018
Lovely cottage in a fab location. Cottage lovely and clean, equipped for all you need for a week away. In good location, near the harbour. Mrs Debbie Wright - 7th October 2018
Lovely well kept cottage in a fab location.Mrs D Wright - 15th July 2018
Lovely property in quiet area within walking distance of all amenitiesMrs Wendy Wright - 6th May 2018
After 30 years plus staying further up the road at Cliff Road, the proprietors were selling up, so we are truly amazed at discovering this little gem and will be returning annually in the Spring each year. The attention to detail on the nautical theme should win an award! The bed was so comfortable & the location perfect.Mrs Helen Carter - 15th April 2018
Lovely will returnMrs Karen Bird - 2nd January 2018
Beautiful, clean and well decorated property. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. No major problems with parking but it does appear that could be an issue in high season. A second front door key would have been useful but did not affect our enjoyment of what is a superb little holiday home. Thank youMr Ken Houlton - 8th November 2017
What a lovely home away from home. Spotlessly clean and tidy with everything you could need for a week away.!Mrs Jacqui Waters - 23rd August 2017
Great location, handy for all the attractions. Everything you need is provided, with a good welcome pack and instructions on use of heating etc.A previous customer - 8th November 2016
We enjoyed our stay at Coastguard Cottage. It's cosy, comfortable and well designed. Everything was perfect. Close to amenities and the beach. The only problem was the neighbour at number 53, who knocked on the door to ask us to move our Car on the Sunday? He asked if we had a Parking permit? Which we didn't have as we thought it was first come first serve, but as he apparently had a permit and we didn't could we move our Car?which we did straight away.A previous customer - 1st November 2016
Had a lovely relaxing week, the Cottage is very comfortable, location is great. Been very tastefully and lovingly furnished. Beds very comfortable. My only recommendation would be to replace the living room conservatory furniture with a more comfy sofa and chairs and possibly provide a foot stool, but other than that it is perfect.A previous customer - 11th October 2016
Fantastic stay for us and our boys. Excellent location. Very homely, clean and welcoming. Throughly enjoyable. Will be recommending and possibly returning if we visit this area again.A previous customer - 7th September 2016
It was very well equipped and it was great to have tea and milk ready when we arrived after a long journey. The treats, towels and bowl for the dog were appreciated. Lovely location for beach, harbour, restaurants. Nice quiet area. Convenient for all public transport links.A previous customer - 29th August 2016
What a fantastic holiday we had stopping at the coast guard cottage! Perfect location just around the corner from the harbour and beach! The cottage had everything we wanted from the little treats they left us for when we arrived and for making it so homely! We will be going back!A previous customer - 2nd August 2016
Nice little cottage in a good location. The stairs can be a bit tricky if you have had a drink or not in some cases. It would benefit from internet wifi as that's all the kids moaned about. We picked it really because the location and price. I can recommend this little cottage as it fits the bill on many levels. Didn't like leaving the car on the car park up the road as some one had been stealing bits off it when we returned to it after a few days so a space outside the house would be nice.A previous customer - 14th June 2016
Really nice cottage within walking distance of town. Easy to travel in and out of Paignton to explore the surrounding area. A great place for a family holiday.A previous customer - 31st May 2016
A great find, very comfortable, well equipped cottage with lots of lovely touches - perfect for our needs and the fab location was a real bonus. Things to watch are the steep stairs and changing levels downstairs.A previous customer - 23rd April 2016
Brilliant cottage so close to the habour town we didn't use the car at all. Really nice that some milk and tea bags were left for us. Had a lovely refreshing holiday.A previous customer - 18th April 2016
Coastguard Cottage was lovely, homely and comfortable in a great location. The only two areas i would improve on are the seats in the lounge, conservatory furniture is not that comfortable after a while, so i would change this to a real sofa (as shown in your website images), and the noise from the master bedroom ensuite could be fixed, not being able to pull the toilet chain in the evenings due to waking up the kids is a downside.A previous customer - 5th April 2016
Coastguard Cottage is the perfect little seaside retreat, and is ideally situated close to the harbour within easy walking distance to the centre of Paignton. The cottage was warm, clean and very comfortable, with a lovely cosy beside the sea feel, which my daughter and I loved. The attention to detail, pretty nautical memorabilia through out the cottage, and that it was so well equipped with everything you could ever need( including buckets and spades which I forgot!) made it a perfect short break. I would highly recommend Coastguard Cottage, we had a wonderful stay.A previous customer - 12th March 2016
Great location, close to the harbour and a few good pubs/restaurants. We stayed during February and there were no parking difficulties. The house was clean and homely. The stay would have been much improved if there were comfortable sofas to relax on after a day of long walks ....everything else was fine.A previous customer - 3rd March 2016
Ideal position of this lovely little cottage enables you to park the car and not use it again for the duration of the holiday if you choose. Lovely walks to Goodrington and Brixham if you are feeling energetic, nice walk into Torquay too. Buses run frequently from the town centre as well as trains. Very comfortable cottage, nice warm for our visit in February. Would recommend without hesitation.A previous customer - 22nd February 2016
Enjoyed the week as the cottage was near the beach and park, ideal for walking Millie (our dog). Paignton as a location is ideal to get out and about to other area's.A previous customer - 8th December 2015
lovely cottage, warm and comfy, great location, quiet, spent alot of time down fairy cove with our 3yo. easy walk to beach and town. shop and restaurants nearby. had a lovely time. thankyou.A previous customer - 28th September 2015
We really appreciated all the extra things in the cottage, especially in the kitchen, to make life a lot easier on arrival. Lots of thought from the owners into making settling in a very easy operation. The location was excellent for all beaches and fish and chip shop and Chinese take away. Also it was extremely quiet at night. The stairs were very steep, especially the top step, so a safety gate would be of benefit with young children as we had a 5 year old with us. Also the en suite shower and toilet made it difficult if the people in the twin bedroom needed the toilet in the middle of the night as otherwise they had to go downstairs. It would have been better to have had another shower in the downstairs toilet area. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay.A previous customer - 5th September 2015
A home from home, all the amenities for a perfect holiday. Comfortable, Clean and a brilliant location. We Would stay there again and recommend to others.A previous customer - 25th May 2015
This is the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. Quiet location, safe parking, cottage had a lovely nautical theme and everything you need was thought about. I had 2 bar signal for WI-FI and excellent phone signal. Also brilliant dog walking area lovely walk from cottage along the headland to Goodrington. Already re-booked for October 2015.A previous customer - 11th May 2015
A very nice cottage, in an ideal place that I would recommend for a couple or a family. Only one little thing: We were two couple to share a bathroom, which is not a probleme except that the bathroom was into one of the two bedroom and we need to go through the bedroom to have a shower. it's not a big deal but it would has been better to know it before.A previous customer - 8th May 2015
The cottage was ideal situated near two beaches en close to shops. That is important becaude we came by public transport. Chairs and table in dining room were awfulA previous customer - 6th April 2015
The cottage was ideal as my mum is living at the Harbour Rise residential home up the road. The cottage was very welcoming for Christmas and we had a very comfortable stay.A previous customer - 4th January 2015
The Coastguard Cottage is not really suitable for a family with toddlers because there is no bath. Nevertheless we very much enjoyed our stay in the Coastguard Cottage. It is very close to town and the beach. Unfortunately there is no Internet connection, although we have been told so. Otherwise evereything was great (furnishing, decoration, instructions on how to get rid of your waist, how to return the key ect.). A very cosy place.A previous customer - 12th December 2014
This is a beautiful cottage, 2 minutes walk from the harbour. It caters for all your requirements, everything was thought of to make your holiday a memorable stay. Have already recommended it to all my friends, will certainly be coming back in the future.A previous customer - 25th November 2014
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages. I would definitely book Coastguard Cottage again and have already recommended it. It was lovely, a warm welcome, exceptionally clean and everything you could need for an enjoyable and carefree break. Ideal location and close enough for amenities.Mrs F - Ross on Wye - 13th October 2014
We enjoyed this cozy place very much. The owners furnished it with very much love. It's a place to enjoy your holidays. Close to the beach and town centre in walking distance. We'll be coming back one day for sure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A previous customer - 20th July 2014
We have a wonderful stay here. We instantly felt at home. The decoration were so lovely and beautiful. The equipment especially the kitchen was perfect. There were flowers to welcome, tea, milk and sweet. We had sleep in the beds very good. It was nearly to the beach and the downtown. The cottage was clean and tidy. Not so impersonally like a hotel. We woud like to com back.A previous customer - 6th July 2014
The lovely fishermans cottage was finished to a high standard, extremely comfortable, and only a stones throw from Paignton. The character and quirky items inside the cottage only adds to it's charm. Great value for money and will definetely be booking again and recommending to friends.A previous customer - 1st June 2014
