This beautiful 4 bedroom family home is located in higher Preston with elevated sea views of the Torbay coastline from Torquay to Berry head, Brixham.  The location is perfect for family adventures, from woodland walks when visiting the nearby Occombe farm and Café and Ten Acre Brake woods, to beach fun on one of many beaches.  Just two miles away is Paignton which offers plenty to many from pubs & restaurants, cinema, Zoo, Paignton Pier and Pirate bays crazy golf. Many activities to keep the whole family busy.

This property offers a large private back garden to relax and enjoy your evenings with the family or friends. It provides a furnished patio area for Alfresco dining or just a morning coffee, a flat Astro Turf leading down from the side patio with a small oval pond on side.

Panorama has been the much-loved holiday home of 5 generations of the same family. For this family, Panorama has stood for rest, relaxation, and a haven from the everyday cares of the world for almost 50 years. Diana, the owner, now welcomes you too to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this comfortable holiday home.

Ground floor

Kitchen: Modern family kitchen with integrated electric fan oven and grill, microwave oven, Integrated dishwasher, full fridge freezer and a breakfast table and chairs for 4.

Dining Room: An inviting dining room for 8 people with sea views. Perfect for family meals together with a modern oak extendable dining table, 8 matching chairs, a flat screen TV, a pair of easy chairs and an electric fire.

Living Room: Enjoying the same sea view as the dining room, this room offers a 45’’ flat screen TV, an ambient gas fire, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs and books for you to read whilst relaxing on a cozy leather G-Plan sofa, a fabric 3-piece suit. It also contains a coffee table and useful side tables.

Family Bathroom: Separate modern family bathroom with bath tub, grab rail, sprinkler tap and wash basin and WC can be found.

Ground floor WC: Under the stairs.

Bedroom1: Suitable for grandparents or teenagers of the staying guests; with a spacious west-facing bedroom featuring zip and link beds (which can transform into a super king size bed), a chunky pine wardrobe, a chest of drawers, hand basin and a pair of bedside tables.

First Floor

Bedroom 2: A spacious master bedroom with amazing sea views. It has a super king bed that can be transformed into 2 separate single beds (zip and link). This captivating room also features a dressing table, a wardrobe is hidden behind the wall, a pair of bedside tables, a hairdryer, flat screen TV with DVD and other occasional furniture. 

Bedroom 3: Double bed, a dressing table, wardrobe, a bookshelf and a bedside table. Also this bedroom benefits from amazing far reaching sea views through the Juliet balcony door.

Bedroom 4: Single bed bedroom, wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinet and a hand basin. An extra 3ft trundle bed can be provided for an 8th person, please note that it would make room space tight.

Upstairs Bathroom: A modern family bathroom equipped with a bath tub, separate shower cubicle, wash basin and WC is conveniently off the hallway upstairs.

Garden: Panorama has the front terraced garden, but the main gem of this property is the spacious garden courtyard at the rear of the property. The flat lawn in back garden is laid with high quality Astro turf leading down from the patio. To the right is a small oval pond surrounded by raised borders and its access blocked by a large potted plant. As this holiday home is in an elevated position one can enjoy amazing views over the area with some far reaching peeps towards the bay.

Parking: The narrow 1930s drive can fit a small compact car but we recommend using the free on-street parking just outside for one to two cars.

Private Garage: Washing Machine, spinning dryer for beach towels, clothes airer.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay. 


  • Please note that in the garden area there are number of steps which border the paths, low-rise brick & concrete garden walls and we would advise that toddlers and small children are accompanied at all times.
  • A high chair and a travel cot can be provided for your use upon request.
