The Pink Beach Bungalow is a bright, light bungalow with lots of large windows providing breath-taking sea and coastal views. This Devon holiday home has a spacious private garden at the rear and parking in front for 2 cars.
What impresses you most when you walk into the front living room, is the size of the picture window and the amazingly wide panoramic views across Broadsands beach, the 9 hole 'Pitch & Putt' golf course and the whole of Torbay stretching out beyond in the distance.
The spacious kitchen/diner fitted with pale 'shaker style' units has all the modern conveniences with dishwasher, fridge/freezer & washing machine. The back door next to the fridge, leads out onto a sunny patio and the slightly sloping garden rising up above. The tiered rear garden invites guests to enjoy alfresco dining. The outside dining area gains all the afternoon sun and even in the colder months it's sheltered spot, means you can still enjoy a glass of wine or afternoon tea in the fresh air. There is a nice spot on the top of the garden boasting magnificent views of Torbay including Broadsands Beach and the steam train.
The lounge is furnished with a new three piece suite, coffee table, electric fireplace and a Smart HD TV (sports channels included) and enjoys fabulous panoramic sea views.
Complimentary Wi-Fi has also been included for guests’ convenience.
Leading through the hallway, beyond the front door, is a shower room & toilet next to the sea view king master bedroom, which is furnished with plenty of wardrobe space, drawers and dressing table. Waking up here is a fairly unique as one can take in the panoramic views, without even leaving the bed.
Next to the master bedroom is a double bedroom with wardrobe & drawers and a 3rd twin bedroom next door, both with views over the rear garden. There is also a 4th bedroom, which is self contained with a small double bed, hand basin & WC and has separate access via the rear garden (available at additional price). A perfect space for an additional person - a teenager or someone who would like personal space. Please note that this bedroom would not be suitable for younger children as it is not accessible as part of the main bungalow.
Next to the twin bedroom is the very attractive newly fitted, family bathroom with roomy L-shaped bath & shower over with glass shower screen plus a contemporary sink, toilet and large mirror with lights surrounding.
Outside there is plenty of roadside parking available for guests in two cars (we advise not parking on the driveway as this is steep). Once parked up, it's just a short stroll to the delights of Broadsands Beach, as well as a selection of excellent local shops, as well as a bus stop to explore nearby Brixham and Paignton.
Broadsands beach is a short walk away. The holiday bungalow is an ideal place to relax admiring the views, watching the steam trains go by or to venture further afield to Brixham, Dartmouth or the South Hams. An ideal location for those who admire long coastal walks, as the house is situated just a few hundred yards away from the South West Coastal Path.
The Marine Conservation Good Beach Guide lists Broadsands Beach amongst its top recommended beaches Elberry cove is an idyllic, pretty pebble beach with beautiful clear water. It can be reached by a footpath from the house that goes through a field or two.

Lovely comfortable bungalow, full of light and wonderful views. We enjoyed the coast walk to Brixham (Sunday lunch at the Berry Head Hotel was excellent - booking is advisable!). Don't miss a ride on the steam train and ferry if possible! We were blessed with beautiful weather and there is so much to do and see. All in all we had a break that was both relaxing and invigorating. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!
We have had an excellent holiday, despite weather not being as sunny, as we wished. The bungalow is lovely and exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable too. The views from the front windows, overlooking the Bay, were amazing as were from the top of the garden. Thank you for the wine and milk on arrival, a lovely touch.
We have had the most fantastic holiday in this lovely, clean and pretty bungalow. You have thought of everything possible needed to make a great holiday home - we loved looking out the window at the spectacular view with enough binoculars for all of us! We felt so welcomed here and the kids were overjoyed with the games etc We would really love to come back next year! Many thanks!
It's been lovely relaxing. Located in such a beautiful part of Devon. The weather has been amazing. Thank you for a lovely stay in a very comfortable and well equipped house. Lots to do and places to visit. Great walks for dogs right on the doorstep too.
A very Comfortable place to stay and delightful mixture of old and new. Loved the nature reserve garden and house Martins nesting. A real surprise to be able to walk to Elberry Cove and Broadsands Bay directly from housing estate. Brilliant blue skies! It has been a great delight to be here.
A very enjoyable holiday superb location will definitely return to The Pink Bungalow
loved the cottage! What a lovely bungalow and great place to stay for exploring the eastern part of Devon. And what a relaxing view every time when we got 'home' from a day out. Lovely walks from the cottage.
