1 Charborough House is a beautiful 4 bedroomed modern holiday property located in the heart of the sailing destination of Salcombe. The property is decorated throughout with a traditional blue and white nautical theme allowing you to kick into holiday mode. This property has a fabulous balcony wrapped around the front of the building and therefore allowing you to take in the wonderful coastal views that surround you as well as relax in the sunshine and watch the boats sail on by in the estuary. Salcombe is a well-known holiday destination and caters for the needs of all family members with plenty of activities offered on
your doorstep. There are many glorious sandy beaches and scenic coastal walks as well as fast boat rides, water sports and fishing all within walking distance of the property. Salcombe also has a variety of local shops for you to explore during your holiday as well as plenty of local restaurants for you to dine in of an evening and enjoy a glass of wine after a long yet exciting day.
Upon entering the property you follow down the stairs into the open plan living and dining space. This generous space is beautifully decorated with a blue and white nautical theme throughout and has patio doors towards the front of the property allowing the natural light to poor in. This light and welcoming space is a comfortable area to admire the spectacular views ahead including the rugged coastline and the golden sandy beaches. The living space has a corner sofa as well as 2 swivel arm chairs in the window. Directly in front and wall mounted is a large Freeview TV with a DVD player. This space is a peaceful and relaxing area to sit of an evening and watch the boats go by and enjoy the remains of the sunshine. The dining area is next to the kitchen and contains a large wooden family dining table with complementary benches and chairs. The dining table is perfectly placed to enjoy your holiday meals as well as still take in the fabulous views that surround the property.
Tastefully decorated with a neutral theme through 1 Charborough House benefits from a large family kitchen. This space includes a gas cooker with a 4 ring hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster.
1 Charborough House comfortably sleeps 7 and one child in 4 spacious bedrooms divided on the 2 floors and all follow the nautical theme. The master bedroom is a beautiful light and airy space with double patio doors leading out onto the balcony allowing you to admire the views across the Salcombe harbour and the beautiful estuary. The room is well equipped with double built in wardrobe storage, a dressing table and a Freeview TV. Perfectly located on the first floor and next to the master bedroom is the single room. This is an ideal space for younger members of the family as it is located on the main floor and therefore guests are able to put little ones to bed after a busy day exploring and enjoy a relaxing evening. This room contains a single bed and has plenty of hanging space for holiday clothing. On the lower level there are an additional 2 spacious bedrooms which are located towards the front of the property and therefore gaining the wonderful views of the Salcombe estuary. The third bedroom has 3 single beds and plenty of storage including a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a Freeview TV situated on top of the chest of drawers. The final bedroom again is a light and roomy area with a double bed and Freeview TV. This room again has plenty of storage including a wardrobe and chest of drawers.
The property has 2 bathrooms and has 1 located on each level. The bathroom on the first floor provides comfort for the master bedroom and the single room. This includes a large walk in shower, WC, sink with overhead mirror and a heated towel rail. The second bathroom is centrally situated for Bedroom 3 and 4 on the lower level. This includes a large walk in shower, WC, sink with cupboards and mirror overhead as well as heated towel rail.
1 Charborough House features a large wrap around balcony which can be accessed from the patio doors from the living room and master bedroom. The balcony is a fabulous spot to enjoy a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening whilst watching the activity on the water and admire the wonderful coastal scenery in front. For the warmer evenings there is also an outside table and chairs to dine alfresco or have a relaxed evening drink after a long busy day at the beach.
There is an annual parking permit for North Sands car park, Creek (1st of April - 30th Sept) ShadyCoombe (1st Oct - 31st March).
Property can sleep up to 8 adults with arrangement with the homeowner. Bed linen and towels are provided. Seasonal Parking Permit.
This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Lovely week in Salcombe, lots of ice creams, trips to Cranch's sweet shop, trips to the beach on grandpa's boat, Max completed his level 1 Powerboat course and all the children had great fun on the Sup Board, another great week making Salcombe memories.
