The private enclosed garden boasts a large alfresco dining table, sun loungers, a family BBQ, lawn and selection of family beach games.

The property's quirky layout involves 2 separate entrances on two different levels; one via the street level front porch, and one on the upper level through the back garden gate.

The hallway flows into a utility room with a washer dryer, sink and a rack for drying laundry and beach gear.

First Floor
Up the stairs, you pass 2 bookcases, which are well stocked with books for all the family plus a huge collection of DVDs. The first floor features 3 spacious bedrooms and a newly installed family bathroom. Two ample bedrooms boast zip and link beds which can be made into doubles or singles and the third bedroom is furnished with two single beds and the lovely bathroom features its own bathtub and shower. The versatile sleeping accommodation is ideal for friends and family.

Driftwood was a lovely holiday cottage, very clean and in a lovely position for the beach. Also had lovely outside space and garden furniture

Previous Customer,

Absolutely wonderful week at Driftwood Cottage. The accommodation was perfect - large kitchen diner on the top floor with incredible views, my husband and I were on the middle floor with our two children (who had a bedroom each) and my Mother was on the ground floor with her own shower room and a bit of privacy! Property was very clean and had all the things you would need for a week’s stay. Loved the little touches - I’d forgotten my daughter’s bedtime books but needn’t have worried as the bookshelf full of children’s stories would’ve kept her occupied for 52 weeks. Huge choice of DVDs and Now TV was also fantastic. Shaldon is a very pretty town - enjoyed the ferry over to Teignmouth and also the local zoo. The wonderful Babbacombe Model Village was a short drive away, as was the Exe Cycle Trail. Would undoubtedly return - wonderful!
