Sea watch was excellent accommodationGeoff from Fairford. - 18th June 2016
A quiet, cosy and well-appointed retreat.
Little Seawatch is small and cosy with broad views over the sea from the lounge/kitchen/diner and bedroom. It also feels very private, being tucked to the side with the terrain dropping away and some well placed planting outside! We were impressed by the quality of the furnishings, fixtures and fittings and the range of decent kitchen equipment. Although small, the space is skilfully organised with some nice 'seaside' touches. We took Buddy, our small and well-behaved 'cockapoo' who, along with us, enjoyed some beautiful beach, coastal and countryside walks. It was nice not to have to compromise on quality in order to have him with us.Jon, John and Buddy from Poole! - 10th October 2015
What a little gem. Little Seawatch is small but perfectly formed. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a glorious view of the sea. The interior is well designed and the decor gives a beach hut feel. I love it! Exceptionally clean. It has everything one needs for a most comfortable stay. Just lovely.Penniners - 25th April 2015
relaxed and happy
The use of space in Little Seawatch is excellent. My daughter a teenager, and I both loved the colourful happy style of the accommodation. The beautiful view of the sea, the quiet location and birdlife was a massive bonus: one which will make us want to return. Our dog Tilly felt looked after too- with food bowl, and long lease. Down side 1, We could not find our way to the brochure mentioned blue flag beach, we tried on four walks. Unfortunately met a very unfriendly home owner along the lane who snootily told us there was no path down to beach, although there is a footpath sign. Maybe a map would help future holiday makers. 2,Why is there a twenty pound booking fee when booking online?Anne - 17th February 2015
The chalet looked very welcoming as I opened the door and it was lovely to see the treats on the table. Beautiful view of the sea and very helpful residents on the site. The chalet is exceptionally well equipped.Ella - South Wales - 20th September 2014
Great base for our weeks Holiday with our dog
Little Seawatch is a great little place to stay for a couple with a dog. The view is wonderful and one you would never tire of.. The property is lovely and bright and airy. Good use of space.David & Julia from Kent - 7th September 2014
My wife and I thought the property was a fantastic base from which to explore start bay and the surrounding area, which we loved. A compact but yet a lovely and fresh interior, which really added to our holiday. Our little maltese dog Pixie loved the walk down the lane every morning, and the little touch like the dog lead hanging in the entrance meant we could tether her to the wooden steps at the back of the property so she could wander in and out as she pleased. All in all we loved our time there and would certainly stay in Little Seawatch again as we will definitely be back to South Hams again. Bonus points were the Brill Plaice chip shop and the Green Dragon pub. Both served fantastic food!!Stuart from Wendover - 16th August 2014
Little Seawatch is so well equipped, modern and yet comfortable. The view is stunning and you can never tire of it. Good weather enhanced the lovely relaxing little haven that the chalet is. The village is friendly and has two good eating places. The binoculars were a nice touch and we really felt at home for the week. The surrounding areas are all great to visit and we spent a few lovely days at Blackpool Sands, not sandy, but still a great beach with a good cafe on it. We would have no hesitation in booking to sty again. You have to like walking up and down hills though!Mary, Waterlooville - 9th August 2014
Lovely clean well equipped chalet with great view made a great holiday for us.
A lot of thought had gone into the interior of Little Seawatch & set in such a beautiful area. After a great day out to come back & relax on the patio with a G.& T who could ask for more. I hope we can return next year !David & Jill,Worcs. - 21st June 2014
A last minute (literally) decision to take a week long break in South devon. I have been staying in the area on and off since the late 70s and accommodation has previously included hotels, b&bs, chalets, caravans, tents and yachts and Little Seawatch beats them all in terms of value for money, seclusion, solitude, comfort and surroundings. Perfect for the dog too, the owners of Little Seawatch have even provided a long lead for dogs to allow them to roam safely down the hill without straying beyond safe limits - very thoughtful. Sacha loved it! Next time I will return with Sacha AND my wife :) !David & Sacha from Lancs - 7th June 2014
A really lovely relaxing holiday.
The views were wonderful from Little Seawatch and even the dog was mesmerised by the sea! The place was very comfortable and just right for us and Milly. We had some lovely walks round the area and into Dartmouth via Dartmouth Castle. One good thing about the area is that most places are dog friendly, so you don't have to worry about where you are going to leave the dog. All in all it was a wonderful week and we would love to come back soon.Karen and Paul - 12th April 2014
