Very good location. Cosy spacious bungalow. The area was a very good base for visiting other locations.R Tibbetts - 21st June 2017
All though the bungalow was a good size & well equipped it was in need of a lot of TLC there is bad mould patches in both bedrooms & main bathroom on the ceilings the covers on the Sofa's were in a bad state one had holes in we thought lemon for a rental property is not good , we understand it's a pet friendly place most rentals are these days but it took a couple of days for the smell to die down , but having said all that I would stay there again & I have a few friends with pets who I shall be recommending it to as it was well located to Torquay & teignmouth but on a quite eastate no noise at all .A previous customer - 7th January 2017
The house was just right for us, and suited my elderly mother too. It was bright, clean, spacious and comfortable, and everything was clearly explained, such as how the heating worked. The garden was perfect for the dogs, and the conservatory at the back made it easy to make sure that, despite dreadful rain, we were able to get them thoroughly dried off before they came into the house proper. The situation was not what you might expect from a holiday cottage, on an estate, but then it was ideal for us, literally round the corner from one family we went to visit, and from the front you could look out over the river. We'd stay there again for a similar visit, definitely.A previous customer - 27th November 2016
No worries you will love this holiday home great location everything that you will need is here very dog friendly.A previous customer - 26th November 2016
We found the bungalow very clean and tidy with spacious lounge large kitchen with all modern appliances both bedrooms were very spacious with ensuits and a great garden area with plenty of areas to sit as well as a conservatory at rear of property and perfectly placed and local to Teignmouth Torquay and dawlish been going to devon for around 15 years and will definitely go back to stoneboroughA previous customer - 28th October 2016
Lovely comfortable bungalow, good location , close to supermarket, pubs, 5 minutes from Teignmouth town and it's lovely doggy friendly river beach and east cliff, and very friendly cafes .Also15 minutes to Dawlish warren which had lovely doggy friendly pubs and beach area. Great views especially from the garden.A previous customer - 14th September 2016
I was very disappointed that there was no welcome pack I have been to Devon on numerous of occasions and after a long drive it is always nice to be able to have a hot drink on arrival also no parasol for the garden,no fan we were very lucky with the weather WiFi very good beds clean and comfortable well equipped 7/10A previous customer - 27th July 2016
The bungalow was basically very good. We had a problem with the kitchen sink which was sorted out the next day and there was a funny smell in the twin bedded shower which was never resolved. Also the extractor fan and light over the mirror in the double bed en-suite didn't work. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay in this nice property and Bailey enjoyed the garden.A previous customer - 17th May 2016
This spacious bungalow with super garden was ideal for our holiday. It is perfect for all ages and being dog friendly is an added bonus. The bungalow has views of the estuary and offers easy access to local attractions. Teignmouth and Shaldon beaches are only a few minute's drive. Supermarkets are close to hand.A previous customer - 11th May 2016
Loved this very homely bungalow from the start, very spacious , warm and very clean. Very well equipped kitchen, with lots of cutlery and crockery, a must with a dishwasher, a couple of new nonstick frying pans needed ( my only gripe) Lovely views of the estuary and Shaldon, and using public footpaths found our way to river. Our 2 dogs loved the garden which is very secure and a further visit is on the agendaA previous customer - 27th April 2016
The bungalow was a really lovely place to spend a weeks holiday. It was equipped with everything you would have in your own home and was very clean. The view of the estuary is a real bonus and also being able to walk to two pubs is a real treat! It is ideally located for trips to Dawlish,Paignton,Torquay and many other lovely places. There is a Morrisons just up the road and a Tesco Express as well as a Waitrose in Teignmouth, There was a vase of fresh flowers on the table and a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived which we thought was a nice touch. It is suitable for any age group and we would not hesitate to go there again.A previous customer - 13th April 2016
The settees were uncomfortable, not good for my bad back. lots of very tiny black insects on bath soaps in woven basket in bathroom. Need clean in the conservatory frame inside,A previous customer - 4th March 2016
Hello we found the bungalow a good space to spend a week , very well placed on a quiet estate . Great enclosed garden excellent for the dogs .once we had settled in and warmed the house up it proved to be a nice roomy comfortable bungalow lovely large sitting room with two large sofas . Well equipped but could do with a couple of new non stick saucepans and wooden spoons. Also I couldn't use to drive as it is quite steep and my car bumper was hitting the tarmac , but fortunately as the main road was quiet I parked my car there. I have hired many properties over the years and usually there is a welcome pack on arrival , in this case there wasn't , although a pint of milk had been left in the fridge . I think it would have been a nice touch , especially as we were staying over the Christmas week . But overall we enjoyed the week and it is in a very good position to visit the surrounding area .A previous customer - 3rd January 2016
A very peaceful location. Especially appreciated by us was the easy access to property as my husband walks with the aid of a stick, the garden was a bonus with its lovely views and being enclosed was great for our dog. Nothing really negative to say, except there was quite a bit of old dust and hair behind the bed in the main bedroom, and the settees had crumbs under the cushions, but the bungalow was basically clean. It did'nt have an adverse affect on our stay.A previous customer - 29th September 2015
Nothing would put me off staying again,Drive is shared and a steep hill, looks larger and flatter in pics,There are steps inside property with hand rail. One single bed could do with a mattress topper,It is a lovely place and owner is doing their best,Garden very secure and that was great.lovely views, close to everything .A previous customer - 24th September 2015
Lovely bungalow, clean and tidy, very spacious, comfortable. Great views of teignmouth estuary, our dog loved exploring the large garden, lovely views from the garden of the hills and estuary. Only 2 minutes to supermarket and 5 minutes from teignmouth .A previous customer - 22nd September 2015
Our family had a lovely stay at Stoneborough despite the poor weather conditions, it is a very spacious property which is a must with two teenagers they very much appreciated the free wifi too. The kitchen is well equipped the separate dining area lovely to. The view from the lounge window of the estuary was so nice especially as I am an early riser and I could sit and look at the view in peace and quiet. I loved where the property is situated even if it is half way up a steep hill and at the very top of the hill are a couple of shops namely a chemist and local shop for papers etc. We were only a few miles from the hub of things and perfectly situated to go into Torquay and surrounding areas. Would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet getaway within easy reach of noise and activitiesA previous customer - 16th September 2015
Bungalow was very spacious comfortable and clean. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need . Very nice location with easy access to most of South Devon and Dartmoor.A previous customer - 15th September 2015
Nice comfortable bungalow. In a good location for exploring South Devon - but not close to the centre of Teignmouth. Booking process was simple - only criticism would be that it would have been nice to be told that we wouldn't receive the exact location of the bungalow until we had made the final payment.A previous customer - 11th August 2015
A spacious and ideally situated bungalow which was clean and comfortable with the exception of one of the single beds. The mattress needs replacing as the springs can be felt which didn't make for a good nights sleep. Very nice garden although it was overgrown but our dog Henry enjoyed wandering around and investigating. Lovely sized kitchen but it would be better if extra cutlery was supplied to allow for use of dishwasher. All in all a very pleasant bungalow.A previous customer - 28th July 2015
So often holiday homes are furnished with wooden flooring and leather settees but Stoneborough had lovely new carpets throughout and a very comfortable settee. Both bedrooms were very spacious,as was the whole bungalow. Great location, just 5 mins into Teignmouth by car, lovely views from the front of the property. There is a Morrisons Supermarket just down the road. Our only complaint was that the garden has been left to get very overgrown, which put us off sitting out there.A previous customer - 14th July 2015
Bungalow was ok, no nice touches on arrival, carpet in hall was soiled, i phoned owner to tell them,so they didnt think my dogs had done it, she knew and said they were having the carpet cleaned, but i felt that it should have been done before we took over. They do have 6 hours before the next arrivals. Also i think the grass could have been cut on our arrival, and the windows cleaned. On the whole not bad but i wouldnt return.A previous customer - 23rd June 2015
Really lovely bungalow had everything you would need will definitely book again in near future had a really lovely stay perfect for the dog too garden really niceA previous customer - 7th June 2015
The booking agent was fine, no problems at all. The bungalow was very nice and comfortable, great to have a secure garden for the dog to run around in and not have to worry. The bungalow itself was great, everything we needed, only problem was the shower over the bath wouldn't push up and down and stay there! Bed very comfortable. No complaints, would stay again.A previous customer - 10th May 2015
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and condition of Stoneborough, it was a little home from home, we will definitely recommend Stoneborough to our family and friends. Julie Pentony.A previous customer - 16th April 2015
The bungalow was very comfortable and as we have two dogs we appreciated the lovely secure garden. The location is excellent, Bishopsteignton is a lovely village and everyone was very friendly. Good access to the coast or Dartmoor.A previous customer - 5th April 2015
The only problem I had any trouble with was the heating system, just on the verge of telephoning the owner when I kind of worked it out & we got warmth, after that great. (We don't have that kind of boiler where we are so I guess it was 99 per cent my fault)The cleanliness of the bungalow was outstanding & we are two fussy people to please on that front as the both of us do not have a functioning immune system so we cannot afford any ""germy"" type places. We did request no linen & it was left out but even that was brilliant, we actually slept in the bedding provided which is something neither of us have done in any other holiday dwelling & so I would happily go back to Stoneborough with a peaceful mind. Would recommend this holiday bungalow to anyone it does exactly what it says on the tin.A previous customer - 23rd March 2015

The bungalow & gardens are great. there is plenty of room for 4 & could even accomodate a cot should on be required. There are view from indoors & out of the river Teign. Access to attractions of all types is easy yet you will find yourself in a relaxed environment. I will add one small note of caution, we found there was a strong cat odour, which affected our sons asthma, this was the only mark down from perfection.A previous customer - 4th November 2014
We found this bungalow to be very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Our dogs really enjoyed the garden, which because it was totally enclosed meant we could relax with them. There was so many places to go within easy driving distance such as Cockington Village with the glass maker and craft fairs or Babbacombe with the cliff railway to the beach. If going to Babbacombe have high tea at Angels Tea room on the sea front, it was delicious. There is also Brixham and the Golden Hind to see, Dartmouth, Totnes and lovely walks by the River Dart. There were also some nice walks round Teignmouth sea front, as well as the lighthouse at Berry Head.A previous customer - 23rd October 2014
My wife and I rented this accommodation for one week, early October 2014. We have been regularly visiting the Teignmouth/Dawlish area of south Devon for the past 44 years and I can say with all sincerity that this accommodation is by far one of the best we have ever stayed at. We do enjoy peaceful holidays and this property being sited away from the hustle and the bustle of sea front resorts is ideally situated, yet is close enough to enable easy access to all areas of south Devon. The furnishing and fittings are of a high standard for holiday accommodation and the garden is a sheer delight with large patio area and a conservatory as an added bonus, not to mention the driveway car parking space which resolves the 'ever present' car parking problem which plagues Devon. Our future visits to this area of Devon will most certainly include re-booking this accommodation, it would be a pointless exercise looking for somewhere better.A previous customer - 23rd October 2014
