Sunnyhill Mews is a beautiful place to stay. Situated in a quiet area and within 10 minutes walk to Torquay centre and harbour. Excellently maintained and kept lovely and clean by Karen and Andy. Everything you need is provided. Good local bus service and plenty of places to eat. I would recommend this propertySusan - 27th October 2018
Could not fault this property. Protected by security gates and situated within the Mews, my partner and I felt safe and secure. Neighbours very friendly. Cottage is immaculate providing everything we needed and more. Karen and Andy are first class at keeping the cottage extremely clean and fresh.Susan Chapman - 16th October 2018
The property was well furnished and very clean. We appreciated thoughtful touches such as hand wash, dishwasher cleaning tablets as well as tea, coffee and milk. Very quiet residential location. Very comfy beds. Mrs Sarah Greenway - 8th April 2018
Hidden gem. We all enjoyed our stay in the cottage a quiet tucked away gem. Lovely to see fresh flowers, tea, coffee and milk when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!!!!L Bradbear - 17th April 2017
Our stay at Sunnyhill Mews was very enjoyable and comfortable. We stayed whilst waiting to move to our new home in Torquay. Everything we needed was provided for and we particularly appreciated the quality and quantity of crockery etc in the kitchen. Linen and towels were of good quality and plenty of them which were changed halfway through our stay by the very efficient and helpful housekeepers. The beds were very comfortable and having a TV in the smaller bedroom was a real bonus. The location was superb being in walking distance of the town centre and to the local shops in Wellswood. Should the hills on the walk to town prove too challenging there is an hourly bus service nearby (64). The secure car parking was very welcome and right outside the door. The only improvement that we could suggest would be a shower curtain in the bathroom. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it to anyone for any length of stay as the facilities were so good and location so convenient. The service from Holiday Homes and Cottages could not have been better. Thank you.A previous customer - 5th October 2016
House was of a good size. Clean throughout. Shower is over the bath with no screen or curtain so could do with updating. Used the car all the time as at the top of a hill which is not unusual in Torquay. However excellent base for the English Riviera.A previous customer - 12th August 2016
Very nice and helpful agents. The house is quite small but well equipped and clean. Great location in a lovely part of Torquay. Five-ten minute walk to local shops. Town centre, harbour and beaches all within walking distance.A previous customer - 30th July 2016
We very much enjoyed our stay at Sunnyhill Mews. The property was very clean and well provisioned. We much appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus all the other little extras. The beds were very comfortable. Although we knew Torquay was hilly I don't think we fully appreciated how steep the hills were until we were there.A previous customer - 13th April 2015

Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - easy and very efficient. Would recommend Sunnyhill Mews - a clean and tidy, well presented little cottage with lots of character. We would stay again.Mr J - Nuneaton - 28th October 2014
Nice place and quiet location yet close enough to amenaties and town centre. There is a few negatives that can be rectified quickly that would make a big difference to your stay, three piece suite very uncomfortable, need to ditch the VERY small tv for a larger wall mounted one and finally the bathroom desperately needs a proper shower, as a holiday let I would preference to have a shower than a bath and would sacrifice the bath for a proper shower. Having said that I would stay again for a mini weekend.A previous customer - 22nd October 2014
The apartmend provided everything you need to feel comfortable. It was quite spacious and the furniture and equipment were all very nice, new and plenty. It was a very quiet place to stay, very relaxing. Everything was clean (just the windows needed wiping...) The bathroom had a bath, but no shower, so you needed time for a bath... I would like to come back any time again!A previous customer - 30th September 2014
We really enjoyed staying at Sunnyhill, it is a great base to explore the Torbay area. Holiday homes and Cottages were a joy to deal with from the start. The property was spotless clean on arrival and the milk, tea and coffee was a nice touch. There were plenty of clean fresh towels and the beds were very comfortable. overall excellent.A previous customer - 19th September 2014
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - straightforward, clear and simple. I would recommend Sunnyhill Mews - it was fantastic. Just what we needed, clean and tidy, great facilities and in a lovely area.Ms B - Preston - 31st August 2014
The cottage was very well equipped and good value for money. It is in a very nice quiet location convenient for torquay and babbacombe. As with most of torquay it is hilly. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.A previous customer - 5th August 2014
From outside looked the part, but furniture and fittings (kitchen was exception) were cheap, uncomfortable (couch/chairs - too small, downstairs flooring cheap laminate) and need upgrading. Table too small for family of four (average sized people). Also, fixed shower is a basic amenity and should be installed. TV a portable screen size I had in my bedroom when I was a teenager, and I am 44. Would not cost a lot to make Sunnyhill Mews a far more comfortable stay. Slaters commonplace and no floor brush to deal with adequately. Beds not comfortable. Thought fixed window at front was a French door set up. My mistake. Had it been it would have made a big difference to the airiness downstairs, as only had one opening window on ground floor. Sound like a real moaner, but I expected much better. Still enjoyed Torquay and surrounding area. Would definitely consider a return visit but not to this accomodation unless it has facelift. Happy to pay good money for good quality, but not upto par on this occasion.A previous customer - 16th July 2014
Would recommend Holiday Homes & Cottages - Excellent service and very easy. Sunnyhill Mews was nice an clean and beautifully laid out. It has everything you need and the welcome pack was lovely.Mr W - Walsall - 24th June 2014
Lovely spot in nice, quiet area, with secure parking just outside. Was tricky to find, but we were supplied with detailed directions. Holiday cottage is modern and has all the necessary facilities, including WI-FI, which was very handy. It's a bit far and high up to realistically walk to any shops, but for a family with a car that wasn't an issue for us. I did walk to the town hall in Torquay one day but it took a very long time and I was pretty tired by the time I climbed all the way back up the steep streets. All-in-all, the price was very reasonable and we enjoyed a very comfortable stay. The cottage was a great base from which to visit all the attractions that we wanted to.A previous customer - 3rd June 2014
Extremely clean property in a good gated development. Note location (at the top of a very steep hill) and also there is no shower, although these sems to have been reflected in the price.A previous customer - 12th May 2014
The accommodation provided the desired break - peace and quiet with beautiful view of the harbour. Provided information adequate, and facilities were good. Challenges for theTaxis to locate place ?? but it provided adequate exercises walking to and fro the town centre occasionally, and an easy access to explore the beautiful English riviera.A previous customer - 7th May 2014
The house is very nice. The bathrooms and the beds were very clean, but the rest of the house needs a general cleaning (the windows and the windowsframes and-joints are very dirty). Also the garden furniture - they are rusty. To mount a shower curtain would be very Kind.A previous customer - 6th May 2014
Holiday Homes & Cottages Booking service Excellent. Easy to use. Good communication. Would use again. Sunnyhill Mews very well equipped throughout. Comfortable beds. WiFi much appreciated.Mrs S - Stafford - 15th June 2013
