Really enjoyed our short stay, wished we had had more time, and will hopefully be back again in the near future.A previous customer - 12th December 2016
Sea spray is a lovely place to stay in the best locaction. There was everything needed to make sure our stay was perfect, including milk and tea etc as soon as we got there. The views were amazing. The bed was comfy . The large cactus plant out side is awesome. The owners are lovely and are easily contactable if you need anything. There are games to play on rainy days and information for places to eat and maps to plan walks. We never wanted to come home. David and Georgina Webb.A previous customer - 26th October 2016
Great accommodation in a great location with beautiful views. The accommodation is equipped to a very high standard. There are two full baths - great for his n' hers.A previous customer - 12th October 2016
As soon as we drove up the drive to Sea spray and were greeted by Cavan we knew immediately we had chosen well; we met Sarah later. Both could not have been more welcoming. Cavan gave us the tour around the apartment explaining how the various appliances functioned; some were unfamiliar to us such as the solar powered blinds integrated in the bi folding doors and others like the heated bathroom mirrors with remote lighting we discovered ourselves a little later. The décor is superb with relaxing colours giving a seaside ambiance and the early morning view from the bedroom window overlooking the channel with the passing ships is stunning. Nothing has been forgotten, rated a 4 star we wondered what conceivably would be required to upgrade it. Cavan enlightened us on the local attractions and it was reassuring that Sarah and Cavan were on site had they been needed in any capacity. If you are exploring the Torbay area we found the weekly car park permit very convenient at £33. you will probably break even, in any event it avoids the aggravation of searching for small change and the fear of overstay. Amongst the many other attractions although not in vogue now try the variety show 'Starstruck' at Babbacombe Theatre. Regrets, only one, we should have booked for a fortnight!A previous customer - 23rd June 2016
We have been travelling & staying in Torquay for well over 6 years now to visit family in the area & in that time have stayed in various establishments. However for the first time this year I came across Sea Spray & can honestly say this is without doubt the best week we have ever had. This property is second to none with a perfect location & is furnished & finished to a very high standard. I could not fault any part of my stay at Sea Spray & this is testament to the owners Cavan & Sarah. Any future visits I would now not consider anywhere else.A previous customer - 13th June 2016
A very tidy and spacious accomadation .Owners made you feel very welcome . Everything that you needed was available would highly recommend . A very enjoyable stayA previous customer - 2nd December 2015
Sea Spray provides an excellent holiday apartment in a first class location, with superb sea views. We received a warm welcome from the host family which was supportive but in no way intrusive. Sea Spray is fully equipped with a wide range of good quality facilities which more than met our holiday requirements. The magnificent sea facing opening doors provided a good view of the surrounding bay. The upper floor, accessed via a narrow spiral stair case, to the bedroom and superb bathroom/wet room facilities also afforded excellent photographic opportunities of Thatcher’s rock, Sea Spray provides a perfect location for two who want a peaceful relaxing holiday and/or a base from which you can easily explore the surrounding area and is highly recommended.A previous customer - 6th November 2015
stayed for a week in july 2015. this is a wonderful place to stay if only for the view from the main room or from the table in the graden. could have sat there for hours for breakfast or just looking at the lights over an evening coffee and brandy. the accommodation is stylish and contemporary but also comfortable and homely. everything provided for cooking and eating, washing and cleaning ( if you need to do any of that) dishwasher and washing machine too. a welcome pack of drinks and milk was provided, also and an offer from the owner to pick us any other shopping up prior to arrival. the bedroom is large with a comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space with adjoining bathroom and walk in shower. It also has a view over the bay. there is also a downstairs bathroom with a bath. the spiral staircase was fun but unsuitable for the fuller figure. owners took the cases upstairs via their adjoining house. the large downstairs open plan area had a large screen TV and a small sofa at one end with the kitchen and eating area at the other all decorated in a white and blue nautical theme. massive full length, fully folding glass doors with blinds offering beautiful views - we didn't open them due to being unlucky with the weather, but there were instructions! a small visitors section of the garden with seating and sunchairs overlooked the bay with parking space. the property is adjoining the main house and although Sarah was around most of the time if we needed anything, we didn't see much of our neighbours, who were friendly and welcoming. if you don't like hills and walking take a car but you can walk to most places within 30 minutes (including walking the coastal path from right outside the door) beaches, shops, pubs, restaurants, bus stops, theatres and other local places of interest. as well as walking, we bought a weekly bus ticket for £17.50 each and explored the whole of Torbay, from Dawlish Warren to Dartmouth . We usually did the walk up the hill from nearest bus stop back to the property ( about 20 mins), but occasionally got a taxi for between £6.20-£8.50 ( couldn't work out the difference in pricing but use private cabs not the ones outside Debenhams if possible). have made a couple of suggestions about providing somewhere to dry wet coats or swimwear depending on the weather but this was our only small problem all week. ( central heating if there in winter) would definitely come here again.A previous customer - 21st July 2015
Owners were very welcoming and helpful. It is wonderful accommodation, everything you could want. Property is highly recommended but beware the spiral staircase might not suit everyone. Sitting in the garden enjoying a glass of wine experiencing the views across the bay - what could be better - there is always something to watch.A previous customer - 30th June 2015
Sea Spray is wonderful accommodation - very clean and everything you could wish for.Mr T - Cambridge - 27th June 2015
We had a very relaxing stay at sea spray. The accommodation was extremely clean and had everything in it you could want. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and I know if there had of been a problem they would have sorted it in an instant. The view from sea spray is breath-taking and having our breakfast in the garden was a lovely start to the day. A walk down to Meadfoot sea front is lovely with a café at the end. All in all a wonderful base to explore this lovely part of the country.A previous customer - 23rd June 2015
A well appointed apartment with fab views in a nice residential area but not too far from the hustle and bustle if you like that. It is well equipped and very clean with a lovely en suite wet room and the added convenience of a downstairs bathroom,A previous customer - 9th June 2015
We were extremely pleased with our stay at Sea Spray. The accommodation is of a very high standard and has everything you should wish for. The location in respect of the views were amazing. There is very little in walking distance, however most attractions/shops are a short drive away. You wont be disappointed to stay there.A previous customer - 29th May 2015
This accommodation is in a quiet area with superb sea views. It is well equipped and ideal for a relaxing holiday. Sarah is very welcoming & helpful, and we would definitely book again.A previous customer - 3rd March 2015
The apartment was spacious and clean. The décor was fresh, modern & the kitchen had all the facilities we needed. We loved the spiral staircase but it would not suit everyone. We were left in peace to enjoy our stay but the owner is next door should you need anything. You are so close to the coastal path, you literally walk out of the front door & you are there. The views are amazing and the location a short drive from facilities (the local pub & curry house are great). We thoroughly recommend this apartment & would go back in an instant.A previous customer - 2nd November 2014
Sea spray is a real hidden gem, based opposite thatcher rock you get spectacular views both across the bay and out to the sea. I honestly could have spent the week just gazing out the window at the views! The owners live next door and are lovely and really welcoming, even bringing some milk over to start our stay. The apartment itself is sized perfectly for a couple and beautifully decorated, whilst the kitchen had everything you could ever wish for equipment wise (it was better equipped than our kitchen at home!). We did not want for anything whilst we were staying and found that they had thought of everything to make peoples stay the most enjoyable it can be. Although a few minutes drive out of torquay, you can walk to meadfoot beach and the local village wellswood has a lot of different shops and resteraunts! We can't wait to visit sea spray apartment again!A previous customer - 21st October 2014
We had a great stay. The apartment is very modern and overlooks beautiful sea views. It was a great way to spend a few nights there and we would most definitely go back. :)A previous customer - 9th October 2014
Our stay exceeded our expectations. Fantastic views outside, and very clean and of a very high quality standard inside. We were made very welcome by our friendly host and wanted for nothing. Sea Spray is set up with all you could possibly want and more, including extra touches like books, Dvd's, binoculars and maps, outside garden area, satellite Tv...etc. We would highly recommend this property.A previous customer - 26th May 2014
Beautiful location, beautiful house, just beautiful! It was a home from home and we couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble and everything was catered for! I would highly recommend it!A previous customer - 15th May 2014
