Excellent family holiday - We spent a week at Easter at the Riviera. Four adults and two children. The accommodation was very clean and had plenty of room for all of the family. The facilities were excellent and there were little touches such as milk in the fridge and flowers when we arrived. The location of the property is excellent, only a 5 to 10 minute stroll down to the harbour. The accommodation has excellent views over the harbour.L Street - 22nd April 2017
Great house with stunning view! Lovely house ideal for a family, has everything there that you need and beds very comfortable. The only thing we struggled a bit with was without a stair gate and our 17 month old with 3 flights of stairs as he can open doors, recommended taking one if needed! The views are just amazing we loved it, could've sat on the balcony with a drink for the whole week!L Johnson - 13th April 2017
A great place to stay with great views looking out over the harbour. The location of the house is 1st class a short walk down into town or to the harbour to catch a boat to Brixham or Dartmouth. Everyone we met were very friendly and helpful will be coming back soon.A previous customer - 2nd November 2016
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - I would book with them again. And I recommend Riviera - it's a stunning home that the whole family enjoyed staying in. A real 'Home from home' feel..Mr W - Banbury - 29th October 2016
Lovely house with a great view from the balcony and sun terrace, comfortable lounge but a coffee table or nest of tables would help. Kitchen is very nice, having a tv and seating area was an added bonus, beds are very comfortable but could do with a descent sized mirror in the main bedroom. Bathrooms are good but the showers could do with a small shelf to put your shower gel etc... on. Having allocated, secure parking plus a garage was an added plus. Overall we realy enjoyed our stay at Riviera and would definitely consider returning.A previous customer - 6th October 2016
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - Thank You. Riviera is in an excellent location, fully catered for all our needs and with good security arrangements.Mr B - Skegness - 20th August 2016
We really enjoyed our stay at the Riviera - clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) and in an excellent location. Would highly recommend this property. It was very helpful that towels were provided and we appreciated that coffee, tea bags, sugar, washing up liquid etc were supplied.A previous customer - 18th August 2016
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - very efficient and straightforward. I recommend Riviera and I would book it again - it's clean, comfortable and in a great location - we were very pleased.Ms P - Alresford - 13th August 2016
Beautiful house everything you could want from a holiday home only issue which is more for comfort than complaint is maybe cushions for the seats on the chairs in the kitchen/diner, we always spend most of our time in the kitchen and after a while the chairs can be uncomfortable. Have already made a booking for next year. Really is a home from home.A previous customer - 30th June 2016
The property we stayed was nice. But it could it do with some mirrors about the place, cause when getting ready I only had one hand held mirror, maybe having a dressing table would be nice with a big mirror, especially for us women! ! Nice touch that there was flowers, milk, tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets and cloths etc...on arrival. Description on how to get to the property was accurate and helpful. Lovely views from balcony looking over to the harbour, pubs and restaurants down at the harbour was excellent. Entertainment in the pubs every night, and the locals were friendly. Lots to choose from.! Lots of nice shops as well, everything you needed was only a stones throw away. Boat trips and buses about so you can explore other villages and towns. I would recommend staying there. Over all, besides the property needing more mirrors and a few other little bits it was good. And the weather was kind to us that week. Many thanksA previous customer - 26th June 2016
The location of the house gives great views and is convenient for the town. The provision of tea and coffee on our arrival was a pleasant surprise. We were able to access the house early which was a blessing given we had our baby granddaughter with us. The house was clean and tidy with plenty of room and of course those views. Although I don't want to sound negative there were a few issues. The beds all had winter duvets not summer duvets, and we were blessed this year with great weather, and the central heating was on in the house until we eventually found the controls (behind the microwave). The hot water tank on the first floor was annoyingly noisey, some sort of vibration which could be heard all over the house. Whilst none of these ruined the experience they need looking at. My brother in law who was in the master bedroom suggested the addition of more hooks, to hang up clothes and towels and perhaps a set of drawers in the wardrobe simple things which would be appreciated by the guests.A previous customer - 8th June 2016
Excellent ,perfect location, will be returning next year. Very comfortable accommodation ideal for family's.parking for two cars is useful.could benefit from New chairs on top balcony.A previous customer - 27th April 2016
we stayed at the Riviera over the Easter break. The accommodation is in a fabulous location overlooking the harbour and only a few minutes walk from the town. It was a super house for a large family with spacious accommodation.A previous customer - 6th April 2016
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages. Would book Riviera again &/or recommend it to friends - it was very clean, had plenty of space and was well positioned for visiting all surrounding towns.Mr S - Croydon - 31st October 2015
great place to stay . right in the heart of torquay centre, plenty of room in the house for our family of 5 ,one of the best places we have stayed everyone in our party agreedA previous customer - 1st September 2015

Service from Holiday Homes & Cottages Excellent - by phone and email. Riviera is a brilliant house - including facilities in the house itself and the car parking and it's handily placed for the harbour and shops.Mr H - Bury - 6th June 2015
Excellent service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - very helpful and polite staff. Would recommend Riviera - very nice and in a lovely location.Mw - Coventry - 30th May 2015
Nice location in a nice place (Torquay). A lot of room and the house was well equiped (TV in all bedrooms for example). There were a few plumming issues at our arrival but we must say that the agency did everything to solve this as quick as possible. A coffee machine in the kitchen coulld have been an improvement.A previous customer - 21st April 2015
Fabulous property with great views of the harbour. Five minutes walk and there is a great selection of eating places. There is also a garage which is a bonus.A previous customer - 15th April 2015
A brilliant place to stay right near the heart of Torquay, with totally amazing views, and minutes from the sea, but with (at Easter at least) no feeling that the busy town centre would disturb you. Very comfortable and perfectly laid out for us with mum, dad and three teenagers, all needing our space. I loved sitting in the evening in the first floor lounge with the balcony doors open, the sound of the gulls and the sea and the twinkling lights of the harbour lulling me into properly relaxing at last...A previous customer - 7th April 2015
Fantastic property, all gated & secure, fantastic location, great views, walking distance to the town, no need to move the car from the garage. Comparable price against the cost of a hotel.A previous customer - 9th December 2014
Lovely house, great for families. Well equipped and very convrniently located. Gets a bit noisy at the weekend in the rooms facing the harbour due to live music from local pubs! In all other respects, a great property.A previous customer - 30th October 2014
Good service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - simple and quick. Riviera is beautiful -excellent views and location..Mrs T - Switzerland - 20th October 2014
Good service from Holiday Homes & Cottages - would book with them again. Would recommend Riviera & book it again..A previous customer - 21st September 2014
Mostly very good. Very thoughtful touches - roses, milk, tea, coffee, dishwasher and washing machine tablets. Location was great and proximity to amenities etc. Secure complex. Child friendly. Beds comfortable with lovely fresh clean bedding. A few relatively minor details could be improved upon to make the house a real winner - check light bulbs are all working, instructions for washing machine are for a different model, no vacuum cleaner bags, no chairs on top balcony, no information regarding recycling.A previous customer - 26th August 2014
Totally amazing views, bit pricey but it was high season so cant complain abt that 2 much.My family loved how spacious the property was...hopefully stop there again depending on cost.!!A previous customer - 26th August 2014
We stayed at No. 2 Riviera after deciding not to go abroad. We are a family of five, with three hard to please teenagers. First time in Torquay - lovely. Well equipped house, secure, nicely furnished. Great views over the harbour, five minutes walk into vibrant resort centre. Wifi would be nice.A previous customer - 11th August 2014
