Here at Blueriver Cottages, we're so proud of the collection of beautiful South Devon properties we have to offer. We also understand that a bit of inside knowledge can really help when making that all-important decision over where to spend your next holiday.

"A great sense of seclusion in the Town Centre" Mel, Portfolio Development Manager

Lazy Days is in the perfect location within Paignton Town Centre. It offers a great sense of seclusion from the main strip of the town however, walk around the corner and up the road, less than 5 minutes walk, and you are on Paignton seafront. Take long walks along the beach, walk into the town and visit the many restaurants, cafes, bakeries and do a spot of souvenir shopping. If you fancy travelling slightly further afield, Paignton is along The English Riviera which is made up of three main towns; Paignton, Brixham and Torquay. Lazy Days is within a short driving distance of Brixham and Torquay or it's easy to catch public transport, in case you didn't want to drive. Visit Berry Head and walk the coastal path to Brixham town centre. Visit Torquay and enjoy Torre Abbey or Torquay Museum. There's just so much to do!

Less than five minutes’ walk to the long sandy beach, as well as a whole host of delicious local eateries with smells to tempt you inside, the cottage provides a fantastic base to explore. Inside, a spacious dining area is the hub of the home, perfect for gathering everyone together at the end of a long day. Can’t get the kids in from playing in the garden on a sunny summer’s evening? No problem – take your food outside and dine alfresco in the sunshine on the decked terrace, or why not pick up a selection of local cuisine from the independent village stores and cook up a barbecue! Of course, for those colder evenings like we have in the winter, the cosy living room with fireplace makes the perfect place to snuggle up and watch a great movie.

Tucked away in the heart of Dartmouth, this 4 sleeper is the perfect getaway, with the whole of Dartmouth to explore right on your doorstep. Whether you are looking for fish and chips on the waterfront, walks to the castle, a trip down the river, or thrill seeking at Woodlands theme park, Dancing Beggars is ideally located with most attractions within walking distance or a short drive or bus journey. Close to all these activities: Dart River Cruise, South Devon Railway, Woodlands Theme Park, Dartmouth Castle, Dartmouth museum. Nearby towns to explore: Kingsbridge, Kingswear, Salcombe, Totnes.

This well presented bungalow is located in Galmpton Holiday Park complex, this park is situated in Galmpton village near Brixham and Paignton.  The bungalow is just a short drive away from Greenway House, the home of Agatha Christie, Coleton Fishacre, the country home of the D'Oyly Carte family and even closer to the popular Dart Valley Steam Train which passes by the park frequently.  Breakaway is also within walking distance to the delightful Manor Inn, a free-house serving delicious home-cooked meals and real-ales.  For those on a bit of a budget Breakaway is the perfect retreat!  It is a really pleasantly finished holiday bungalow offering modern accommodation at a very reasonable price.

The fascinating and culturally diverse village of Cockington sits just a short walk from Torquay seafront, yet is a countryside contrast from its seaside surroundings. If you’re looking for a beautiful countryside escape in a quintessential thatched Devonshire cottage, with a tasteful and thoughtfully renovated interior then look no further than beautiful Mill Cottage.
